If I had to pick one, Whitney. She may be a car crash, but Mariah has that horrible nasal whine (which do not help on drippy ballads) and Celine Dion induces rigor mortis.

That's pretty much how I feel. I can handle Whitney, but not the others. It's especially painful when they do movie soundtracks.

Im really happy to see Whitney back looking great not sweating and shit give her a break there are many stars who were once drug addicted, she looks great dresses like lady and not still trying to be 20 year old girl with all those short skirts and shit ( Mariah) pay close attention.

She doesn't even belong in the same category as Celine or Whitney.
True, she can have the occasional great single (thanks to top producers) but she keeps singing the same song over and over and over. Just like Janet Jackson, it all starts to sound the same. These women are in their 40's and still sing music better suited for Rihanna or Hillary Duff.

i saw the taping of celine dion on oprah and she announced her the best selling female recording artist of all time for selling 185 million albums... but I could of sworn Mariah Carey was the best selling artist of all time.. not trying to be immature like a 13 yr old girl, but i love both.. who is the best selling female artist Mariah or Celine??

No one knows for sure. All three have record labels that claim they've sold the most records. I think Barbra Streisand claims that status as well.

Well considering all the CDs Celine has released sine she was what? 14, she probably is.

She has more CDs than Madonna, and more than Mariah.

Of course I doubt the USA has seen a lot of her Entirely French Albums.

Just Because she has released more albums, doesnt mean she has sold more records, all her french language records never sold more than 1 million copies worldwide a piece

yes, in the U.S., but 4 of madonnas albums have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide each, Like A Virgin, True Blue, Like A Prayer, And The Immaculate Collection, i actually think Celine And Madonna Are pretty close in worldwide record sales

But besides that Celine Dion was awarded the award of being the best selling female artist by the World Music Awards. So that has to count for something.

But then again Mariah was awarded with the best selling female artist of the 90's and being the artist of the millenium!

Madonna has also Sold More Than 200 million records world wide, claimed by Warner Bros. Records, But then again, these are all "Claims", Who Knows For Certain, Celine Definatley Hasnt had the longevity that Madonnas career has, I Mean Not Many Artists Can Say 23 Years after their debut album, their new album has topped the charts in 20-something countries!
