I have to hand it to you, it took time to take my comments out of context, especially the first one since it was actually about a LP, whereas the other two weren't. You either have no life, or...well, no life. :)

Well, if I were called a "dwarf," it would bring into my mind an image of a hairy barbarian king, swinging a battle ax and hacking ogres to pieces, which is actually kind of cool. If I were called a "little person," I would kind of find that annoying, personally, but that's just me. I'd really have to consider the individual I am talking to before I could figure out what term to use. If I did have cause to use "little person," I would try to put the stress on "person" because I assume, a little boldly, that this is linked with the motive for some people preferring that term.

I assume the kind of gay guy, who would be involved with the porn scene, would prefer the barbarian king image. Well, I've typed in "dwarf" as my search term, and I'm getting results all over the place. I think I might have struck the mark.

I'd insist on being called a "munchkin man," though, just to be difficult.
