I'm not going to procrastinate this year. I've already started Christmas shopping. I usually wait until a week before Christmas to go shopping. I don't think I could deal with the "Christmas shopping crowd" this year. I'm glad I've started early, no long lines and lots of items in stock. Now, if my family would stop dropping me obscure hints and just tell me what the hell they want from Santa!
 
It is unfortunate that there is a class system on JUB in which people are not treated equal. That is a problem which seems to be getting worse. There will soon be a class of JUB "untouchables". I try to treat people equal and fair, even though I don't get the same treatment in return. I'm more than a little pissed off about it.

I purchased a bushel of high quality daffodils and have yet to plant them. I need to get my lazy ass outside and plant them before it's too late. I figured they would make a nice display come Spring.

Well, Thanksgiving's next month. This year's almost gone.
 
Things are heating up on Dancing with the Stars as the competition has gotten down to 3 men. I'm putting my money on Mario, as long as he plays by the rules. I think he's the most talented dancer on the show. It seems there is one judge who doesn't like Mario. Last night he suggested that Mario was "cocky". That may be true, but he's cocky in a good way.
 
I have been on JUB a little over a year and have met many nice people. But I wonder, do I have any friends on JUB? There are certainly those that I would consider friends, however they may not feel the same way. I'm so used to being pushed aside that I assume that I have no friends. Perhaps this is all in my mind, perhaps it's not. :confused: :(

I'd love to have friends.:wave:
 
I'm going to have to get a small space heater or a thick blanket if I'm going to stay warm at the computer. It turned cold last night and the central heat does a poor job of warming up the computer room. It's on the north side of the house, in the shade, with the cold north winds blowing. If it's cold now, it's going to get worse come Winter.
 
I picked up some Glade apple-cinnamon oil candles in the store today. I like them. They burn steady, have a good fragrance, and no smoke. The candle burns out when the scented wax is gone. You replace it with another pellet of scented wax. The candle also looks good.
 
The cotton has just been picked and the mice have left the cotton fields to find a new home. One of the rodent refugee's has decided to invade my house.:mad: So far, I've only seen one. They travel in packs so I'm sure the mouse is going to bring in all his kinfolks. I've set some traps, but the clever rascal has avoided them. I just hope the mouse doesn't crawl on my bed when I'm sleeping.:eek:
 
I'm starting to wonder if any thing I do is worth the effort. My time in the hospital did help a little. Perhaps it's time to get off the train of life and look for things beyond.
 
It's a rainy election day in my area. I just went down and voted. Glad to say that it was not crowded. I expect it to be crowded after 4pm. I'm happy there was no electronic voting. I marked my ballot with ink and a machine counted it. Every vote is backed up with a paper ballot...|

It was hard dragging out of bed today. I have a fever and my muscles ache. I'm not sure what's causing the fever. It started last night. I hope it passed. I don't want to see the doctor again and have to take more antibiotics.:(
 
Knowing why my mood changes, doesn't make things any better. I hate it when my brain suddenly shifts gears and goes from happy to sad.:( There doesn't seem to be much I can do but stick it out. I'm very sensitive at times like this, so I have to be careful to ingnore things that upset me.:cool: There's always and up after a down, so I have something to look forward to...| I am worried about my blood tests. The doctor said there is a problem with my liver. My hepatitus might be flairing up again. That could be the reason for my current fever and nausea.
 
I'm trying to buy new sheets for the bedrooms and can't make up my mind. I know I don't want satin or flannel. What thread count to get? I'm not going to pay $100 for one sheet. I want white or solid pastels. There are an awful lot of expensive designer sheets with bold patterns. I think I'll settle for 300 thread count sheets. Of course I need to buy matching pillow cases and fitted sheets. I'm very picky when it comes to spending money.;)
 
Well, my sheet dilemma is over. I bought some 400 thread Egyptian cotton sheets. Light blue and very nice. I got matching pillow cases and fitted sheets. I also brought a bunch of Turkish towels, nice and soft. I'm having new windows put in my house this week. I'm scrambling to get the house cleaned up before the workers come.
 
:=D: Wow! Dancing With The Stars was sure spectacular tonight. Both Mario and Emmett delivered fine performances. Emmett was full of charm and Mario was full of energy. The score is tied at 89 points for each. Who wins depends strongly on the public. In my opinion, Mario is a better dancer than Emmett. What Emmett may lack in technical skill, he makes up for in charisma. They both have a lot of people supporting them. It's almost impossible to say who is going to win. My vote goes to the Latin stud, Mario Lopez.:=D:
 
It's been a stormy Thursday with many tornado warnings. Things are quiet now and it's turning cooler. There has been no damage in my area, except for minor flooding. It's sad that a tornado killed 8 people south of me. The tornado hit a trailer park around 6 am. There was no tornado siren, and those poor people were asleep. Most of the dead were children.:( :(

On a lighter note, Emmett won Dancing with the Stars. Emmett was good, but his win had more to do with popularity than with skill. If this had been a Broadway audition, Mario would have got the job. Still, the popularity of the show and his performance, are a tremendous boost to Mario's career. I hope to see a lot more of him.:=D:
 
If there's anything that I suck at, it's wrapping gifts. I can never cut the paper the correct size. I never get it to fold neatly. The tape always breaks. The only thing I can do is stick on a bow.:mad:
I have a closet full of Christmas gifts that's growing every week. Now I have to face the challenge of wrapping them. Until then, procrastination rules!..|
 
I woke up this morning with a fever and a lot of chest congestion. I've stayed in bed most of the day. I'm not sure what's wrong. Perhaps it's just a chest cold. If it's not better Monday, I'll see my Doctor.:( ;)

:( Well, downhill I go. The flip side of bipolar disorder. My mood has been crashing the past few days. Here comes the depression. I've been trying to fight it off, but I'm not winning the battle. I think this fever makes things worse. I have to be careful and not let things upset me. I'd almost rather die than to keep going through this, but it will pass in time.:cry: :( :cry: :help:
 
They finally came and put in the windows today. I had planned to go to the doctor, but had to stay home. I've been washing curtains and putting up new blinds. I still have a fever and have felt terrible all day. The blinds were difficult to hang because the screws were too soft. I found some old screws that worked. I'm happy to say that I just finished. It's going to cold and rainy for the next 4 days.
 
I'm feeling slightly better now. My temp has stayed below 100 today. I'm having some trouble breathing and coughing up mucus. The weather is awful. High winds, cold, and heavy rain. There is a flood warning for my area.:(

On a lighter note, I'm having Thanksgiving at my sister's house. She puts on a fine feast. I'll get plenty of rest so I'll feel well. I'd hate to be too sick to go.;)
 
I had a nice Thanksgiving meal at my sister's house. My sister asked me to say the blessing. I tried to make it special, but not too long or sappy. I had a small slice each of lemon pie and sweet potato pie for dessert. I spent the next few hours trying to find out what my niece and nephew want for Christmas. I was running a fever so I went home and got in bed for the rest of the day. I have no intention of getting caught in the Friday shopping crowd.;)
