^ If CGY and Grimshaw don't get their daily dose of randomized hate....they kick a puppy.

Interesting though, unlike Grimshaw, we've never heard Ellen utter a single racist, misogynist or random hate comment on homos.

Who really appears as the better person here? The person who has probably empowered more young adults across North America to embrace their sexuality or the bitter fruit from Australia whose best quality may just be biodegradability.

I like her and she comes off as nice person, unlike some talk show hosts (*cough* Wendy Williams the wretched cow).

Well, she does have the comedic timing of a 600-year-old turtle who is lame and has a broken hip, is a wooden actress at best, has a penchant for yaking endlessly without ever saying anything worthy of listening to and always panders to the lowest common denominator with stupid "sketches" and boring, safe, predictable and dull interviews.

However, she is inoffensive, comes across as a sweet, caring and warm person in a not-overly-calculated sort of way and has shown the world that we gay people are not evil, satanic beasts who desire to destroy civilization with our supposed child-abusing, marriage-destroying and gay-infecting powers. She is the embodiment of the Gay Girl Next Door, and that is very positive and refreshing.

So yes, I do not watch her show, but she has become rightfully successful against all odds, is a likeable host (even if everything she does is milquetoast and boring), and I'm sure that she's made many a person see that gay people are, well, like everybody else. For that, I think that we should all be very grateful.

I don't watch either. But has she filled the great vacuum left by the departure of that Oprah? All those advertisers, corporations and PR merchants need an innocuous, anodyne, inoffensive showcase to sell their products/services to the great unthinking, undiscerning audience who have to buy and use all their products to keep the economy going.
