if you are so intent on protecting gay interests, you might think about promoting the growth of gays in all the other industries, rather than just protecting one single industry (porn of all things). you just stated "heterosexuals are in charge" so how about we move to share the control. on a side note, i will say that your assumption is sort of wrong. many companies not even related to porn make a significant portion of revenue off the gay community, and for this reason have devoted time, effort, and even had executives on their boards hired (because they were gay) to make the companies more gay friendly and serve the community's needs, so your thoughts about heterosexuals being in charge is sort of incorrect in the first place (cheer up its not so bad as you think).

I think the demand for g4p is highly overstated. Most of the best selling dvds are out gay men barebacking. Online might be different as self loathing gay men can convince themselves they're not really gay if they're watching "straight" guys being convinced to have gay sex.

I thought of Jensen, but he was advertised as bisexual, and he has been listed as bisexual since leaving SC. There has been the suggestion that he's gay, but since I couldn't find anything listing him as openly gay, I didn't include him. If he's gay. I'm thrilled to hear it. It's rare in online porn.

Sean Cody doesn't really advertise their performers as gay or straight anymore since the controversy. They're into using pronouns to hide the sexuality of the performers. The out gay ones are rare on SC. Most of them are listed as "bisexual" or Sean Cody cuts away when the performers start to talk about how they're enjoying the sex. The Corbin Twin also claims he's bisexual, and did straight scenes which is something you see a lot of: gay men in online porn doing straight scenes. Next Door is obsessed with doing that.

Online porn is definitely g4p and a lot of it is extremely homophobic. I can't imagine a straight owned company telling a straight performer to do a gay scene just for fun or to make him more popular with the viewers.
