End Gay4Pay

we are having a nice discussion about models skills and personalities no matter their orientation, silly interviews and good porn....no one is forcing anything down anyone...just talking and so far it's a pretty interesting and respectful thread full of opposit point of views but very respectful....then you arrive and call this "bitching"...kinda uncalled for don't you think?

The title is misleading because no one except the op has asked g4p models to quit or invited anyone to boycott anything....in fact many who find g4p porn less fascinating then gay porn in general are also naming some g4p among their fav models because we recognise their skills as performers....so it seems like you have read only the first comment and not the entire discussion.

Sorry i didn't intend for my comments to be interpreted that harsh. I'm just a huge believer in personal choice and personal responsibility. It seems too often these days that the objections of a few shape the policy for the many. I just like to defend the availability of choice.

I wish I was being melodramatic. I've met a lot of gay men online who've gone through the above. One was punched in the face by his father when he came out. His mother sent him to an ex-gay camp. He tried to kill himself several times from 16 to 19. His favorite performer was Cameron Marshall, and Marshall doing Shifting Gears was devastating to him. If it seems like I'm unforgiving about this issue, it's because I think of him whenever the straight for pay issue comes up. I wonder what Miklos, Riley, and Marshall would say to my friend.

This has nothing to do with porn. Sorry, but this guy needs to build up his self esteem and that involves therapy, not porn. Why the hell do so many gay men look to porn to validate it being OK to be gay? I really don't understand porn is elevated to such an important part of gay culture that people cannot separate it from being a form of entertainment and not an affirmation of being a proud gay man. How many str8 men are going in to a deep depression when they find out their favorite porn performer is a lesbian?

These guys come and go, they do it for the money and, yes the like being desired, but they are not here for the long haul. Str8 or Gay they come do their thing and move on. Porn may help some to find out what they may be into sexually I.E. water sports, bondage, topping, bottom, etc. It is not a guide book on how to be a gay man and build a happy successful life. period. Anyone looking to porn as a foundation for their life needs help and it would be wise to point them to a youth group for gays and lesbians and/or a good therapist, not which porn site offers the most gay identified porn performers.

Gay4pay is a pain sometimes, but gay porn has never exclusively offered gay men. Just hot men willing to perform in gay sex acts. Period. I would like to see more interracial porn, but i don't see that happening anytime soon and that to me is more relevant to our culture then trying dictate what the men in gay porn do in their PERSONAL lives and with whom they should be doing it with so they feel better about themselves.

Let me be very clear. I am not saying Cameron Marshall was responsible for my friend's actions. That would be absurd. What I'm saying is that film, radio, and television are powerful tools. To deny that we do not form our identities and our decisions from images in the media is absurd. Why else do people wait in long lines for the next Apple product? Why do we see hairstyles based on a celebrity's? Why did theatres put ads for popcorn and soda before the film? Because we're all susceptible to images, and we all form our identities and our impressions of others through the media. Read/Watch the Celluloid Closet. Look at Leni Riefenstahl's career. Look at child beauty pageants and how the media has oversexualized little kids. If images don't matter, why are gay men so upset about the new gay housewives reality show? And don't tell me that scene descriptions like the one I quoted above do not impact negatively upon gay men.

Arpad Miklos made the conscious decision to do a straight scene. He was not under contract to a director known for his/her contempt for the gp audience. It was Mikos's choice to do s4p, but to say his choice has no bearing on others or it doesn't send messages to his fans or gp fans in general is disingenuous. We can debate the types of messages sent, but every action made in a visual medium sends a message. IF you were put to his comments and those made by Blake Riley into the mouths of people like Sally Kern, Sarah Palin, George Bush, the Pope, etc. the very people who defend Mikos's and Riley's comments and their right to do a straight scene would be calling out the right-wing homophobes.

"You can turn gay! Come on, it's fun! You'll love it! A gay man has sex with a woman and loves it! Straight sex is so much better! Gay sex is so dirty and disease ridden! MY new fantasy is to get fucked by a woman!" Can you imagine the outrage? The above is nearly word for word what Mikos, Riley and the publicity for SG said. Why should Mikos and to a lesser extent, Riley be let off the hook just because they're gay? If anything, they should be more sensitive to these issues than straight people and they should be held more accountable because they should know better.

You are telling me that that guy with a dick up his ass is not gay? How about the guy with the dick down his throat? Not gay? How can that be? I just don't get it at all. I think this is the biggest revelation of my life. Str8 guys doing gay porn. Oh my!

Well, first keep in mind that labels are awfully simplistic things to use. If, say, a guy had sex with a man once very few years if he is really, really, horny, but has sex with dozens of women a year. You could argue that he isn't "straight", but it would be very misleading to call him "bi", wouldn't it?

Is sexual orientation about your sexual history, or about what turns you on? Can you be gay if you are a virgin? Are you gay if you have a "dick up your ass" because you are being raped? Is a Hollywood actor who can act everything from tender romance to hard action scenes gay if he kisses another man as part of filming?

If a guy has no interest in having sex with men, never does so recreationally, abstains from sex for two weeks and pops a Viagra
before fucking a guy for a paycheck "bi"?

Some men are capable of physically performing sex with anyone. Some men are capable of enjoying sex with someone they are not attracted to. Some men are able to enjoy sex with other men, but don't really desire to. This whole sex thing is complicated.

As a trivial example, last month I was flogged by a woman. I am able to enjoy flogging from women, though that sort of thing is about the limit of what I will do sexually with a woman. I'm pretty damn sure I'm not bi.

Porn is about acting and crafting a product that is more fantasy than reality. To me the bigger question isn't, "how can a straight guy do gay porn?", but rather "how can any guy perform, much less have fun, under those conditions?"

Having a director re-position you every few minutes for a different angle etc. must be a real mood killer sometimes. I can I just imagine the reaction if someone's cell phone goes off just as you are about to deliver your cum-shot!

You: "Oh yeah, I'm cumming, I'm cumming, oh god..."
{insert Lady Gaga ring tune here}
You: "I'm cum.... oh"
{dribble, dribble - totally boring orgasm}
Director: "Get that fucking phone off my set! Ok, guys we need another take on that cum shot, get hard again."

Honestly, I admire anyone who can do this.

Hmmmm...didn't i say earlier about the media being a part of a person forming their identity? Yeah i believe i did. TV, Radio, Film, etc plays a major role, however you are holding PORN up as an equal tool and it isn't. TV is free so is radio and is readily available. Porn however, needs to be sought out and paid for though many have found ways to get it for free it is not the same as the content put out there for the mass population.

Now for the backlash that the Arpad, Riley, Blake scenes of gay men having sex with women was to prove a point. Just because you have sex with a person you normally wouldn't because your not sexually oriented that way does not make you str8. Because there are so many people that say just because a guy has sex with one guy they are gay. It was reverse psychology and since your so freely wrecking them yet not the studios that pushed for the models to do the scene then you are focusing on the models. there are people who fuck for the sake of fucking yet, people like you cannot grasp that fact. Again, let me suggest therapy.

I think Arpad, Riley, Blake and others should fuck whatever partner(s) they like, who consent to do so - for money, for pleasure or just for kicks.

This policing of other people's sexuality is sick, and is just the ugly mirror of homophobes who are just as obsessed with who others have sex with.

I strongly disagree with this ideal. Theirs nothing better than a str8 who has fallen so low, that he will fuck a proud gay guy for money "I know, am cruel". Regardless, if a guy is hot, does it matter if he's gay for pay? Certainly not for me.

Yes it's exactly the same as homophobes who are obsessed with denying rights and civil liberties. Criticizing Arpad ....

No matter how you spin it, you're exhibiting the same sex-police attitude. You may not have the numbers or power to apply the same pressure, that's all.

I don't care if Arpad Miklos has sex with a woman, no women, or a hundred women - so long as all parties are consenting. It's his body and his life, not yours.

Yes, it does. I feel less alone in the world. Being such a minority hurts. It's good to know that there are many like you in the world.

Well I've interviewed Parker and Rusty and I think they both came off pretty damn well.

Parker is a SWEET guy. Whenever he shoots with us, he always comes into my office, curls up on my couch and goes to sleep.

Yeah, Parker is so sweet'n sexy with his almost constant smiling and giggling. I would love to know him. So sexy.

Who started this thread.... doesnt make sense thats all i'm going to say...

Heterosexuals are in charge of nearly everything else in this world. Gay porn should be by gays and for gays. Period!

Okay, Gaynyualum. I've read two of your threads and think your style, so far, is a bit off-putting. Is everything in absolutes in your world?

Personally, I think gay for pay is wicked and funny. Shows a lot of people have a price.

Actually I'm ok with gay4pay. What does bug me is when performers "have trouble" labeling themselves - like Rod Daily, etc., but I don't lose sleep over it.

It's interesting that no one mentioned Aaron James (AJ) or Kurt Wild over at collegedudes247. I became "aware" of them after seeing the YouTube videos of Tyra Banks' show on "Gay for Pay." In it Aaron James says he's strictly straight and only does gay porn for the money. He says that before he shoots a scene with a guy he looks at erotic videos of his girlfriend on his phone and then takes Viagra (what Aaron doesn't understand and isn't brought up in the show is that Viagra only works IF you're sexually aroused - and I've studied this actually). Now seeing Aaron James in action he's done the following things:

1) topped - ok no big deal
2) Bottomed for some JetSet vids - hmm interesting
3) Done a cum-eating scene - not of his own - of Kurt Wilds - even MORE interesting.
4) Rimmed many a dude - OKayyyyy??

To me you simply cannot be straight doing all this.

Tyra also interviewed "power bottom" Kurt Wild(e?) who has done many scenes with Aaron James. The footage shows Kurt with his girlfriend/fiance/wife (I can't remember now) and their child. HE says he does gay porn "for the fans" because he "likes to please the fans." This I just don't get - for the fans? puhleeze.

Here's the link to the Tyra Banks "Gay for Pay" YouTube vids:
http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=PQensCD7xcE&feature= related (take the spaces out of course - I can't post links yet - go figure)

I guess what I'm getting at is if you're sucking dick, eating cum, getting fucked up the ass by a dude, eating a dude out, or fucking a dude up the ass you're not straight.

But gay4pay in general I don't mind it.*|*

Ok He looks at videos of his GF to get aroused w/ the help of Viagra. What don't you understand about that?

I don't understand how he remains aroused while fucking a GUY, getting fucked by GUYS, rimming GUYS, sucking dick, cum eating when he says he's straight. Clear?? Or do you need me to draw a diagram?

Plenty of gay men have had sex with women. Even I have. Our motivations might be different but we were perfectly capable of doing it. Just doing having sex with a guy doesn't make you gay any more than learning to Moon Walk makes you Michael Jackson.

Oh Yes. Let's go for another FAIL, pd.

Just because YOU don't understand something doesn't mean your assessment of his sexuality is correct.

I"m sorry but your statement goes against the very nature of human sexuality. I'll just respectfully disagree.

It's so cute that you think that. You also realize that Leonardo DiCaprio didn't REALLY drown when that boat sank, right?

And that Jennifer Anniston didn't REALLY Marry David Schwimmer in France?
