Eric's Story

Wow, I was expecting the ending to be soon but not this soon. This felt like one of those movies where it just seems to cut off from out of nowhere and then gives you the details on what happened. I need a part two!

Wow, I was expecting the ending to be soon but not this soon.

I debated about that; I apologize if you feel short-changed. My problem was, because Eric was my narrator, the detailed sex descriptions (which I'm not that good at anyway) pretty much had to involve Eric, and, since he was very satisfied with Z and tending to be faithful, it was getting repetitive.

Since this is a porn board, repetitive sex isn't what we we're looking for.

I really wanted to describe the Logan-Larry relationship more but the limits of writing in the first person tied me up.

Also my usual problem came along; I fell in love with one of the characters. What? Larry, of course. I can't tell you how frustrating that is. :(

Rory,
Don't feel the trap that JUB is a sex board. The story forum includes some stories with only a small smattering of sex - but lots of rich character and inter-relationship development.

Not that the sex scenes aren't fun, lol.

I understand where you're coming from - You could have done as some have, and switched viewpoints at certain points in the tale, so you could "get in the head" of the other characters.

No matter. We greatly enjoyed the boys, and look forward to your future endeavors.

loved this story...so sad to see it end...looking forward to reading more from you rory

This is a BUMP to bring the Trilogy, as it were, all up to the top for the holidays.

“Two or three labels just aren't enough for us, let alone the other six billion people groping around out there. Leaving aside a perfect world, I think any two people can keep each other reasonably happy and well satisfied if they both try hard enough. These relationships won't be alike and wouldn't suit everybody, but they can work for the two involved. I don't see any reason – now or ever - why you two guys to have to settle for some label invented by shrinks long dead if you don't think the label fits. The aim of civilization is that we're all supposed to love each other and the details of how that works out are left up to us.”

Rory, I still think you are a genius. I am only part way through this story and have fallen in love with every word. The quote from your story above is perhaps one of the most profound statements I have ever read. I have truly fallen in love with Eric, one of the most wonderful characters ever written about by anyone. You have me crying and laughing. Your insight into human emotion, whatever label it is involved with, is unbelievable. You are truly gifted, and I thank you for the gifts you share with all of us.

Hey Rory! I've just finished reading this wonderful story, and I just loved it. You are an exceptional writer, mate. Your style is so assured, precise, and just plain delightful to read. I love how you put sentences together, the pace you moved the story along at, the deft turns of phrase. Your touch is light, but you made me gasp, laugh and feel sad at various times throughout the story.

Of course, I fell in love with Eric -- such a remarkable character you've created. I'd love to see him pop up in a future story. And what a wonderfully varied cast of characters throughout, all interesting and believable in their own way. And I really liked how you wrapped up the story -- I thought it was totally warming and satisfying.

I'm gonna follow your suggestion and move straight on to Rory's Stories.

Cheers, HF

Hi Rory. Loved reading this story and look forward to reading your other stories here

I am so sad this story is over. I thoroughly enjoyed Eric. I wish we could have seen more of the mysterious Dan/Tony. He was intriguing and exciting.
