EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain [MERGED]

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

what i find interesting about the UK is despite them being against the euro they have opened themselves to political manipulation by the conservatives at home. Cameron and his posse are saying look i saved you from the euro, but then he sold his country out in every other way. how does the UK tolerate such nonsense is beyond the pale. UK is far far from a bastion of higher principles. their whole political system is just as screwed up as America and in some ways far worse.

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

Caesar took over in 49 B.C. Rome lasted another 500 years after that.

The Roman laws from most of this period seem to have ensured near absolute loyalty to the Roman Empire from anyone who was even remotely near to being afforded civil rights.

For instance, I'm fairly sure the Romans would have had the "UK go to hell!"-crowd crucified.

The standout feature of immigration debates here?
The biggest idiots are already inside the borders. With pitchforks, nonsensical tabloids and Viagra, just in case.

Rome ruled its vast empire through local kings, and princes...Rome's principle objective was to collect tribute, through excessively high taxation....with food produce, spices, fruit, and other local produced goods shipped to Rome to feed the Italian people....in return the dependent peoples received Rome's protection from other nations, and empires determined to replace Rome, and impose their hegemony.

Rome's response to resentment in its far flung provinces was usually diplomatic, and pragmatic....with a will to settle disputes, with compromise to avoid military intervention.... expensive, and avoidable when local administrators sought political solutions....if that failed then Rome's response could be merciless.

It is roughly estimated that there are some 1.7 million refugees waiting in Turkey to enter Europe, with numbers growing to 2 million by the end of this year, a reflection of the collapse in civil society in Syria the result of its ongoing war.

Here's an article detailing the difficulties Greece is facing with refugees fleeing wars in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan....

I quote:

The deployment came after the island’s mayor, Giorgos Kiritsis, warned of "bloodshed" if the situation on the island of 33,000 people -- where around 7,000 migrants are waiting to apply for immigration papers -- worsened.

Serves them right for sending so many Turks to Western Europe...

Yes, Rome lasted 500 years after Caesar, but as a cruel, totalitarian, dictatorship, not as a republic. Obama aspires to be our Caesar, and he may succeed.

Now immigrants boast about how EASY it is to sneak into Britain through Channel Tunnel

ILLEGAL immigrants have astonishingly boasted about how "easy" it is to gain entry into Britain by stowing away on Channel Tunnel car trains.

A group of Syrians detailed how they board Le Shuttle wagons by following cars driving on to the trains – claiming that guards were too busy checking the closed wagons to notice them.

More than 20 Syrians – waiting to be taken to Croydon and processed by – claimed they then hid under vehicles for the 35-minute journey.

One immigrant called Khaled said it was "too dangerous to go under the trains so at night we followed cars as they drove onto the train".

Now they've started boasting about it.

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

Boasting is the language of the writer, not the migrants. I doubt they were boasting about it in any real sense, just they told the media how they did it.

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

And the taxpayers get tp provide free healthcare to the invaders and jihadists.

What makes you think they wouldn't boast about it?

Yes they are using the NHS here for free healthcare.

Off your pills?
If you're going to spout complete nonsense, then plenty of citations please.

Obama, of course, has not admitted his intent to give his party dictatorial control. As with most political intentions it must be inferred from the circumstantial evidence. I have written about it many times in this forum.

I really wouldn't worry about the guys coming from Calais using the NHS - they aren't allowed to use it...

In the same way they are not allowed benefits, and are banned from working in this country. Instead they get a £5 a day allowance.

What is your key piece of evidence in regards to the Democrats removal of democracy from the States? You have mentioned it a few times, but only ever referring back to things you supposedly said before. I can't be arsed to trawl back through all your posts.

The more that get in the more theft and robbery will be a huge problem.

Is problem going to get worse?

Likely yes. Some 150,000 people crossed the Mediterranean illegally in the first six months of the year and many of these will make their way up through the usual European routes to the UK.

They will take advantage of the Schengen agreement which allows them to move through the continent without having their identities checked.

How many migrants are trying to get into the UK?

According to the head of Border Force 39,000 people were stopped attempting to cross the Channel illegally in 2014-15.

That is more than double the number the previous year.

It is estimated that in recent months as many as 400 migrants attempt to make it across the tunnel every night – apparently as many as 50 successfully.

Eurotunnel director of Public Affairs John Keefe has said they had to call in French police 28,000 times between January and June to remove migrants who had broken through security fences.

It says it has intercepted more than 37,000 migrants since January using its own resources.

Kent Police say they are tackling an increasing number hiding in lorries crossing into the UK.

This means crime will soar and we can expect robbery

No matter how much they try and stop them they still find a way in and the figures are rising.
