EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain [MERGED]

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

Not so easy Ben. A description like yours could fit Diocletianus but it would hard to apply to the Flavii and the philosophers emperors Hadrianus, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius. Rome, in its actual historical form, is still lasting nowadays we could say but it's a divagation.
The second Rome then - Constantinople - lasted 1500 years after Caesar. I was once charmed by a theory of some historians who argued a possible decadence of the USA empire could resemble more the Byzantine than the Roman Empire one. They had some points in my opinion even if historical games as such are games indeed right Ben? :)

Re: EU pays jobless migrants to come to Britain.

Nevertheless the Roman Republic, a early experiment in democracy, lasted 500 years before Caesar, or at least before Sulla. And the Empire was a dictatorship, often corrupt and cruel. The were some more benevolent dictators but they were dictators never the less.

My guess is that the USA will in the not too distant future become a one-party state going through the motions of elections, but allowing only one party to rule. It will be a totalitarian state, using ideology to justify the total power, which is one of the defining characteristics of a totalitarian state as opposed to a garden variety dictatorship based on power only. The Communists use class struggle and the need for economic equality as their ideology. Fascists use race to justify the use of total power.
American liberals/democrats are borrowing from those two. They have historically preached resentment/hatred of whites and the rich as their ideology, with limited success, among the minorities, so the want to flood the country with more minorities who can be taught to hate the whites and rich and vote for socialism. But also, they see the environment as the holy grail. Since everything effects the environment, an exaggerated concern for the environment justifies total control to an extent previous regimes could only dream of.

The Roman Republic was never democratic...except in name...and among many other problems collapsed due to endemic corruption.

Rome's persistent structural crises, a dysfunctional political system, and a highly effective, and respected military contributed to the fall of the Roman Republic. Nevertheless, before it collapsed, Rome was given one last opportunity to save itself with the formation of the First Triumvirate in 59 BC.

The First Triumvirate comprised of Rome’s most popular older general, Pompey; one of its richest man, Marcus Licinius Crassus; and one of its most successful young generals, Julius Caesar....I'd have supported Julius Caesar way back in 59 BC.

The rest of your hysterical rant is duly noted.

The Republic was sort of a democracy. Certainly not a monarchy or dictatorship. The tribunes were plebeians, elected by plebeians, with the power to veto law. It lasted while a Roman people supported it and its limitations on power. But as more peoples were included, it eventually succumbed to the military dictatorships of Sulla and then Caesar. With hindsight, we can see that the failure to compromise with Caesar, forcing him to cross the Rubicon was the final blow to the Republic.

We should not derail this thread to a totally different topic.

France’s most wanted female terrorist lives on welfare in the UK.

Charlie Hebdo terror mentor’s wife on benefits in Leicester.

Britain continues to be the favorite HQ of terrorists, as Abu Hamza stated to US courts. Hamza said the British government and authorities made it so easy for them to operate in the UK and would “never bother them” making Britanistan a favorite amongst Muslim terrorists.

Sylvie Beghal, a French citizen, lives rent-free in a four-bedroom house in Leicester having arrived with her children in search of a more ‘Islamic environment’

The wife of an al-Qaeda linchpin who mentored the Charlie Hebdo murderers is living on benefits in Britain after deciding France was too strict.

Sylvie Beghal, a French citizen, lives rent-free in a four-bedroom house in Leicester having arrived with her children in search of a more “Islamic environment”. She is married to Djamel Beghal, a former London-based lieutenant of Abu Hamza, whose teachings may have inspired the Paris attacks.

At least two of the gunmen were Beghal’s acolytes, it has emerged.

Mrs Beghal lives with her four children in a smart home next to a park. Her landlord, who did not wish to be named, said: “She doesn’t have a job. She doesn’t even leave the house much.”

If claiming full housing benefit, she would be entitled to more than £10,000 a year. Her two children under 18 entitle her to around £1,500 a year in child benefit. With jobseeker’s allowance, Mrs Beghal may have cost taxpayers more than £150,000 since moving back.

This woman is now living off welfare in the UK while she supports the Islamic state.

Were this woman France's most wanted female terrorist, she would have been arrested by UK police under a European extradition warrant, and transferred to French custody. There is no extradition request for she is not wanted by the French authorities.

We should be wary of anti Muslim propaganda masquerading as fact.

She's still supporting the Islamic state while living off welfare in the UK.

She is still a danger to others and she's being housed free of charge.

Were she a danger to others I am certain the police, or the security service would deal with her appropriately, apparently she has not been apprehended by the police, leading me to believe that your allegations are without foundation....

She's already been questioned by the police and she's already bragged about supporting the Islamic state on numerous occasions.

She still claims benefits and lives in a 3 bedroom house as she still continues to support Islam. As far as we know she has no issue with bragging about how easy it is to get away with what she wants in the UK and she's taking the mickey out of the welfare system.

None to waste on your sorry diatribe, I'm afraid.

I understand fully. The taxpayers are also wasting here.

That she is free indicates that the police have no interest in her, leading me to believe that she is not a danger to others.

I am sure that the social services department dispensing the benefits are aware of her public utterances....yet, they continue to support her....

It says here that she's already convicted and that she still claims benefits.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ts-Britain-moving-UK-Islamic-environment.html

In a case that has already cost UK taxpayers tens of thousands of pounds, Sylvie Beghal, 45, who lives on benefits in Leicester, is seeking to overturn her conviction for refusing to co-operate with British police who were investigating her husband.
