Eurovision 2014 in May [merged]

Why do you think the poor thing was crying, hysteria? Vienna is a nazi hive, and it is the only "big, liberal" city, accounting for one fifth of the whole population.
As the joke goes, the Austrian are ever so very good at charming the world with music and pastries, making them believe the bad guys are the others.

I know it's a shame that the uk had such a great song that was so well done and yet it didn't get the points it deserved but still it was such a competitive year and what an event it was!

There was no shame to loosing to conchita. She's amazing. I'm going to be remembering 2014s eurovision for years to come

I'm not a fan of this contest, and it isn't generally my type of music, but if Conchita Wurst can get up the Russian officials' asses so effectively, then I'm impressed!

She sung a power ballad. She did fine with it.
Conchita Wurst - Rise Like a Phoenix (Austria) 20…:

It goes without saying that Bond movie theme songs aren't everyone's thing but so what? I could see her singing that with shilottees of naked females moving about in a theater. She did the genre well.

Eurovision is WAY better than American Idol; certainly Conchita is good at what (s)he does, it just isn't my taste. But the show is certainly an education in music.

I bought the cd and I can't stop listening to it. It's amazing. Conchita's song always makes me feel so powerful!
 
^^ I have the cd too. The only song I tend to skip is by Poland. I like that there's a bonus track on there by last years winner. I hope they keep that up, so next years cd could have a bonus track by Conchita !
 
That would be amazing.

I tend to skip the cheesecake song. It's the only one I hate. The others are fantastic
