I've had many close calls, but only really been caught once. Once, during summer vacation in college, my computer was suddenly on the fritz for two weeks or so, so I was using my mom's computer. I avoided looking at anything hardcore on her computer and was usually very good about deleting the history immediately after using it. However, of course there was the ONE time that I forgot to, when my younger brother came over, found a page in the history that linked to Campfire discussion board, which is a message board devoted to male celebrity nudity as I'm sure many of you know. I doubt my brother actually explored the site, but there's a picture of a man's ass on the front page and it's clearly a gay site. He told my mom and my mom confronted me later that day. It came completely out of the blue to me. I blamed it on pop-ups and the excuse went over very well. I was surprised given how caught off guard I was by it, that I was able to actually spit out a quick plausible excuse.
Ever since then, I've educated myself much more on which websites have cookies, how to delete specific files and images from a hard drive, and so forth. I'm currently sharing a computer again and am careful to always delete everything, my history, cookies, and temporary internet files EVERY time after I use the computer. I never download anything hardcore though and won't watch porn unless it's streaming video. In other words, I steer clear of ********** and mpg and wmv files because I wouldn't want them to pop up in a media player and then be saved because sometimes, if you open a media player, the most recently played clip is still on there, even if just a screen shot of it, so I don't want to risk it. That's why xtube is great

. There have been many times though where I've come close to being walked in on while on a gay-themed site. I'm prepared with excuses this time if ever confronted though.
One thing that always made me nervous was whenever someone else used MY computer. I remember for example, occasionally over that summer where my mom caught me, once in awhile, she had turned her computer off and wanted to check something really quick and mine happened to be on, or her internet connection mysteriously died while mine worked, and she would come down and want to use it. I usually had to say "uh, hang on a second, let me just write a quick email" or something of the like, as I actually very quickly made sure that I had cleared my history and deleted my cookies. I would always worry about someone stumbling onto my online stash of porn, which I had been keeping in the same file as my many mp3s, or that someone will check out my undeleted history or something. I don't like people using my computer for that very reason. My computer is currently sort of in a state of disrepair and my brother is a computer genius so I have had him take a look at it a few times, and I sort of watch nervously from afar as we goes into all of these folders and looks at files, worried about what he will find, especially since my computer sort of died suddenly and I'm not sure if I got rid of all of the porn on it. It will be nice when I get my own computer again around Xmas-time to be able to actually watch porn whenever I want.
