What did Texan Representative republican Steve Stockman (who invited this 1970's one hit wonder) accomplish by this? To get his name in the press or what? Whatever it was I hope he achieved his goal but seeing just how badly things are going for republicans nowadays I'm certain it didn't.

Besides, why isn't One Hit Wonder dead or in jail?..... another promise, another failure of the right wing.

I just cannot stand people that use their "celebrity" to get on a soapbox and promote their agenda. I think they should all STFU.
 
I have nothing against them using their celebrity, its no different than anyone that volunteers except they are more known. They are a citizens and have a right to voice their opinions, I just don't agree with his, mainly because he is a nut. I didn't agree with Kid Rock but unlike Nugent, he isn't in need of medication.
 
By his own admission,Nugent crapped his pants in order to avoid serving in wartime. Just another pro war hypocrite.
