Explosions, shootings reported in central Paris

The finding of a Syrian passport near the body of an alleged terrorist is very troublesome. When a Country suffers a terrorist attack of that magnitude, the hurt, anger, and fury are tremendous. The potential for Syrians to be attacked and killed is great. It will take a long time before the fear subsides, and anger and rage can be refocused into stopping further attacks and healing the people. It sadly will take a long time to feel secure again, if that is even possible. My heart bleeds for the dear people of France. May God bless them and keep them. I understand from the News that Russia has been threatened. Why, doesn't ISIS attack North Korea and kill that nut case of a Dictator instead of harming places like France?

From what I've heard ISIS said, Rome, and then Spain, are next. I assume the Italian and Spainish authorities are on diving into every possible lead to find the people who might be carrying out those attacks, but of course the statement could always be a decoy.

More muzzy wuzzies spreading the loving wisdom of the "religion of piece (of shit)", watch as I try containing my unabashed shock and awe.

Doesn't fit their desired conclusion, more or less the same that has been held since 9/11, that everyone with the appalling gall to be born and raised in a part of the world with Islam as the defacto religion are collectively guilty of any individual acts, terrorist or otherwise, committed by any Muslim of any nationality or any ideology or any branch of Islam anywhere in the world.

Nevermind the fact this logic AGREES with terrorists that attacks on people in the West are valid when in retaliation against the actions or foreign policies of western societies or militaries, once someone accepts the notion of collective blame as a fair thing. People don't think this objectively or proportionately.

you should not assume that the right is comfortable with authoritarian government and nonelected agencies. On the contrary, in the us, it is the democrats who prefer authoritarian decrees by activist judges, nonelected agencies, and a president who exercizes unconstitutional power. Democrats approve to a man. It is only conservatives who object.
off topic ..............

Which means they'll attack somewhere else. Don't be surprised if any part of Britain isn't next thanks to the EU open door policy allowing terrorists in.

We are already in alert here today and we already know that they're claiming welfare here and sending the money to Syria to help fund their evil war.

When secular islamic countries offer condemnation toward tragedy like this. Please, they just doing it by tongue in cheek..
I came from one (Indonesia) this event actually benefiting them..if you have keen eyes, you'll see they actually used as democracy puppets from extremists.

There always be good people in every religion, nation, culture but as long these people under Islamic umbrella, they can't do much actually. In the end, just imagine what happen if ISIL/IS, Al Qaeda, etc successfully destroyed Europe and successfully erecting Caliphate territory? What's the other secular islamic countries do?...

Nothing, they'll adjusted easily like changing cell phone provider, unlike us..non muslims might experience the second genocide.
Islamic is very "black" and "white", they're easy to understand and they do not understand your complex humanitarian/democracy thinking, Please..it's disgusting to apply our high humanitarian thinking to ism with the name "Islam!"

Don't apologize to them, I say it the last time.

* The tongue in cheek and hypocrisy from secular islamic countries more transparent in Charlie Hebdo massacre btw..
We condemn that shooting! but please bitch..you all celebrating the death of Muhammad's enemies..

Indonesia could be sincere condemning this act- there always be good people in every country and good politician..if the president and majority rulings are like this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basuki_Tjahaja_Purnama

^
yep, same mixture as mine (Chinese Indonesian) and look up his religion..
I heard his whereabouts, he has no sympathy toward Islamic extremists in my native country..You know "separation" and "action" which shows their stance in this matter..like those Turky kurds, the Jordans, etc. I'll say..I personally do not buy my country's sympathy atm because the president is still muslim. I hope you can separate "tongue in cheek" sympathy with the "real" one..precisely.

But of course there are lots of Muslims who live in democratic nations (like India and Turkey) who are democratic themselves and enjoy complex humanitarian thinking. So I find this something of a contradiction with you other assertion that there are good people in every religion.

This terrorism does not shame or embarrass muslims because the west is careful to disassociate the acts from Islam. So, muslims are largely indifferent to the acts, or secretly approving while giving lip service to disapproval. Perhaps if the west condemned Islam itself, as it deserves, both terrorists and other muslims would see that the acts duscredit Islam and belie its goodness. Yes Islam from Mohammud's own armies on down has relied upon killing to force coversions. Islam deserves condemnation.

And just exactly HOW would a Muslim-hating bigot like yourself gain access to what Muslims "secretly" approve? DO tell how your Magic Mirror on the wall enlightens you to such private knowledge. Ditto for how you would even be slightly aware of what Muslim attitudes are much less are "indifferent" to.

Put up or shut up.

Put up or shut up.

We are entitled to express opinions and you have no right to tell anyone to shut up.

To the contrary, I and every other member of JUB do have the right to tell you to shut up, as that is also the expression of opinion.

You are making an argument slandering Muslims broadly. Now, you back away from your assertion that you in any way know what Muslims think or say, cowering behind "express opinions."

It's one thing to misstate the actual history of Medina, a legacy of tolerance when there were Jewish and Christian quarters established under Muslim rule, but it is another thing to use the sort of propaganda that you employed above. It is the equal of the Nazi portrayal of Jews as a cabal of evil Shylocks conspiring to control the world's economy.

"We know what Muslims really think. They hate us in their hearts. They secretly cheer on our enemies. They cannot be trusted."

Shame on you for such evil. Unlike your targets, your motives and your thoughts are quite evident here for fair minds to read. On the other hand, the words and intents you allege in the hearts of mainstream Muslims are entirely imputed. Bigot! Be ashamed!

We are entitled to express opinions and you have no right to tell anyone to shut up.

You're mistaken in the idea that all opinions are created equal. They're not.* Especially when there's nothing to back the view up.

So you can express all you like - but no one has to take you seriously since you've no facts to give. Not a one.

Which is what 'put up or shut up' indicates. One can only take so much "This is true, but please, please ignore that I have no proof!"

*Which opinion would you take more seriously if your car was attached to something that looked suspiciously like a bomb (and not merely clock innards) - A professional Explosive Ordinance Disposal technican of twenty years or a housewife of twenty years who builds birdfeeders in her spare time?

Come on now, the housewife watches 'Criminal Minds'! I'm sure that's just as good as the technican's twenty years of experience!

You lie. I did not say: They hate us in their hearts. They secretly cheer on our enemies. They cannot be trusted."
I did not say that. They are your words, but you attribute them to me and dishonestly put them in quotes. You are reprehensible.
