I liked that one fad, where you could listen to the radio all day long, and none of the music was unbearably shitty to listen to. . .and none of the vocals were badly AutoTuned.

One fad I currently hate, is that all the teenaged boys decided it would be a really good idea to have a big, messy, shaggy, 1970s-looking mop as a haircut. I feel old now, because I look at kids and think "Get a haircut!" just like my parents did when they saw kids. lmao

PLUR

new wave

90's preppiness

mid 90's emo... not the goth ripoff

early 90's bright gay porn (you know what i mean)

heroin chic

1960's radicalism

the kind of synth rock/glam rock late 90's look (think the band Orgy)

I'm all for tight pants too - so I can see that nice bulge and hot ass ! ! !

I can think of a few... people talking to other people in their vicinity instead of texting other people who are nowhere nearby or interacting with each other instead of walking around with headphones in their ears.

Songs on radio which contain musical and vocal talent. And music. Where people don't have other people to say their names, or spell words in the songs.

Locker-room immodesty.

Circa 1970s basketball uniforms, like this one worn by the gorgeous legend "Pistol Pete" Maravich:

Back then, their legs went all the way up. . . <sigh>

One of my favorite fads IS back. Black guys with afros. Even when they keep pick-combs in them. I don't think they're sexy, necessarily, I just think they look neat.

I'll second the one about 70s basketball uniforms, too. The current ones are getting better, but they still look like they're wearing several sizes too big.

I'd like to see some 80s fashion come back, albeit in a gentler way. Not the over-the-top stuff. Things like those all black except for the bit of green/blue/yellow/pink powder jackets. I liked those.
