  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Fad's you'd like to see come back again

So, who's first to volunteer to wear short shorts and speedos?

^
I kind of already do where shorts that are shorter than normal.

I wear Rufskin and Andrew Christian Shorts at the gym.....not the shortest ones that Rufskin has though. I have never been one to do something becuase everyone else is doing it. I will not wear those long shorts with the cheap polyester fabric that looks like cheap skirts that most people wear.

I do also have the little ones of rufskin but I wear them as underwear because they show too much as shorts.

it's a heavy weight terry fabric so it hides stuff.

Football shorts that really were short ... and tight ... and without the lycra leggings underneath them .... like our footballers used to wear back in the 80's and early 90's. Aussie AFL fans will recognise this bloke ....

I support the return of short tight footy shorts but NOT on Warwick Capper!!

*shudder*

Hehehe .... I agree there's not much between his ears, but he was damn hot to gawk at back in his footy playing days! :-)

bring back the little shorts that soccer players used to wear

I do wonder why they have to wear shorts (or shirts) at all. It would make the game watchable if they played in nothing but a jock strap(!)

You could always get one of these for your car:

Just to show how schizophrenic my town is ... evolvefish.com is an online outlet for The Liberal Store http://theliberalstore.com/, which is located several miles away from Focus on the Family. The "school of Jesus fish" I drive around in is accompanied by a school of Jesus fish parodies, too. (I don't really mind people expressing religious views, but when it becomes a fad ... how hypocritical. Ick.)

Anyway, this parody of the Jesus fish makes me laugh: The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. May he touch you with his noodly appendage! :D

>>>Jukeboxes. I love them. I'm only 26, but I think they look cool. I'd like to see them in restaurants and pool halls and stuff.

My friend owns a jukebox. And it's a standard one that plays 45s. He even has all the little red strips that he builds the menu out of.

Every so often, he swaps out all the 45s in it. Usually he'll have a theme going. Last time I was there, it was all songs from 1979. It's always fun at parties, since people can walk by and pick which songs they want to hear.

What else? I'd really like to return to a time when the biggest turn-off to people wasn't "unibrow". Since when did a bit of hair between the eyebrows become such a frightening prospect? And I don't mind mullets. Yeah, they can be overdone, but compared to some of the hairdos today, I don't see why they're deserving of such scorn. (I'm talking to you, Beardos.)
