I've always been a big fan of "What it Takes" from Pump. One of the reasons it's special to me is that it was a song playing on the radio when my dad recorded some home movies that I watched ten zillion times as a kid so I was already inclined to like it, but I would have liked it anyway because it's just a really good and memorable song.

Here you go

For me it is "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing".

The first time I heard it was from the film "Armageddon" and I loved it.

God, I remember how big the movie and the song were in 1998. So many memories of Aerosmith hits and how they cemented their legacy with "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and the heavy rotation it got.

Saw them long time ago with Great White. Stevens voice was just as good live as it is on CD.. was very impressed. I think my fave song would be Angel. It has so many memories. They have other songs that are great too. Cryin would have to be a close second.

Didn't know they toured with Great White. His voice is still crisp, even after a life of drugs and vocal cord surgeries. "Angel" is their highest charting hit in the 1980's I believe, peaking at #3. I almost got to see Aerosmith in 2009 until Steven Tyler broke his shoulder and canceled the rest of the tour. Need to get around to seeing them.

Ya they toured together back in 1992 or somewhere in that area. Steven broke his shoulder at the Sturgis Bike Rally which is where I am from. He accidently fell off the stage. lol.

It was really a bummer that the rest of the tour was canceled, I've never seen Aerosmith. Hope they come around next year so that I can.

almost forgot this one...with aerosmith it's kinda hard to pick a favorite

Lighting Strikes or Chip Away the Stone, any song from the 70's beats any 80's Aerosmith song...yuck, all the ballads and video hits were not good...
