I imagine Lindsey Buckingham and Nancy Wilson rocking out on some song with Ann Wilson and Grace Slick dueting vocals or something on that legendary scale. But who could right a song worth of that much legendary power. Call me goofy, but I can't help but think outside the box.

Grace Slick ain't gonna happen :( She is in permanent retirement. The others do work together occasionally. A few years ago Lifetime TV did a special called "Girls With Guitars". Maybe not all "legends", but it was a concert with Ann and Nancy Wilson, Cyndi Lauper, Melissa Etheridge, Wynonna, Sheryl Crow and Amy Grant (who held her own better than you would imagine!). The show opened with all of the ladies doing "Barracuda". One of the highlights was Ann and Cyndi dueting on "Maybe I'm Amazed".

There was also a time during the 80's when Stevie Nicks wanted to take a sabbatical from life, so she travelled with Heart on their tour for a couple of weeks. When she felt the urge, she would hop on stage with them. Apparently there is one bootleg (bad quality) of this floating around, but I have yet to hear it.

I know that Ann and Nancy like to work with younger people a lot. They have and continue to do a LOT with Alice in Chains (Mike Inez was even Heart's bass player for about four years while AIC was on hiatus) and Gretchen Wilson. They also did a duet with Carrie Underwood (Alone, of course). And, on her solo cd, Ann does duets with Gretchen Wilson, Rufus Wainright and Shawn Colvin, Alison Krauss and Elton John and Wynonna (to represent the older crowd).

I like your idea. But, I have to say... if Nancy Wilson and Lindsey Buckingham were to do a duet, it should be written by Nancy Wilson and Lindsey Buckingham!

I favor "Kick It Out", "Even it Up", "Dog & Butterfly", "Heartless", "Nobody Home", "Nothin' At All", "if Looks Could Kill", "Heart of Darkness", "Who Will You Run To", "There's The Girl", "I Want You So Bad", "I Didn't Want To Need You", "Stranded" and "You're The Voice".

I like most of those songs there but you seem to have missed Alone which is a great tune... for sad and rainy days.
I did vote for What About Love, great intro and it is catchy... I loathe the day when some pop starlet decides to remake it with autotune. >:0

....I know right. I saw bohnam open for them and when heart did their encore....yup....stairway to heaven w/Jason on drums.....fuckin amazing night of music
