^^^ last three posts.... Prince was controversial FOR THE VERY REASON of having us talk about HIM. And his sexual teasing was part of this. He would NOT care if were discussing this issue, well, maybe in his later more religious years he might have, but otherwise, he wanted to be as controversial as posssible so we WOULD talk about and notice him.

Stop all this self-righteous idiocy and DO discuss what you thought of his sexuality cause he sure as hell opened that door!!!! And as the lyrics he wrote in "Controversy" say "...am I straight or am I gay."

Now, I personally dont think he messed around with men, but I think he might have. He was very feminine to a degree, but he was also obviously swimming very deep in the lady pond!!!

My favorite Prince song was "Damn You". Wasn't a popular song but a great song to "smoke whatever you got" kinda song. I hope I haven't shared too much.

*mind, you except a few backing vocals and the saxophone this song is all Prince from composition to instrumentation.

Who the fuck writes like that? Ugh another legend down the drain. And I'm not a big conspiracy person but securing the rights to your own music has been followed by the deaths of several prolific artists. I'm not sayin I'm just sayin.

Towards the end he got remnants of "it" back, "call my name" wasn't a terrible letdown.

as it stands, and by virtue of how much more involved he was with his music than most artists, prince's worst songs > many artists' best

People throw the word "genius" around alot...

Musical genius is rare though..and Prince belongs in the very top tier....along with Stevie Wonder....
