Females on JUB???

Meh, I don;t mind a few females here and there but just from my experience with bars and clubs, I've found that gay bars frequented by lots of females, tend to be more gossipy.

Didn't a girl call you a homophobic bigot? I think I vaguely remember a "dumb-ass" thing like that being said...

Yeah, well, if experience around here has taught me anything, it's that people who don't like me manage to say the stupidest things in an attempt to get in a point on me.

never works, but it sho' nuf is entertaining, ain't it?

Attacks seem to be the fallback of those who cannot further their "agenda" or beat people in submission to view their beliefs as the one that is "right."

I bet they are Republicans, too. :eek:

well, boring and predictable, anyway.

and they probably have stupid hair and bad breath.

^By being a woman in a "man's forum^

I thought that was pretty self explanitory,

For those of you who responded without being insulting, no matter your view on the subject, thanks.

To those of you who only have nasty, condescending things to say, all I have to say is, you'd get your point across better if you were tactful about it.

I can guarantee you now that there are others who feel the same as me. I'm just not afraid to share my opinion... even if it's an unpopular one.

For those of you wondering, no, I have no issues with my mother. And, to the one who said I was a heterophobe, that's just ridiculous. Nothing I've said indicates I have a problem with heterosexuals.

If a woman is turned on by two guys fucking, good for her. She's not welcome in my bedroom.

Like I said, I'd be pissed if there were women in a men's locker room to make comments on what they see. Am I wrong that a men's locker room is somewhere that a female doesn't belong? I guess I see it as the same. I don't belong in a women's locker room or restroom. I don't have a problem with it. I also don't belong on a lesbian forum or for that matter a hetero forum. This doesn't bother me either.

I have no problem with a woman being a doctor. I can understand some women would be more comfortable going to a female doctor. Likewise, I would never go to a female doctor. I am more comfortable with a male doctor. I have disrobed in front of my doctor and don't care to expose myself to a female. Some people will find this preference offensive. Oh well.

I was here a while before I saw some females posting. It was surprising to me. Luckily I didn't post anything of a more sensetive nature that I didn't want a woman's opinion on. I will, of course, keep it in mind and refrain from posting anything I don't want a woman to read.

Some of you suggest that because I am fairly new here, I'm naive. Sorry but being here longer won't change my opinion on the matter.

Oh, and in the case of mac_twck, your little statement makes it obvious you are here trying to cause trouble and irritate people.:gogirl:

Moving on....

It's called sarcasm---hello.

Have I irritated anybody......else?

I haven't taken the time to read all the posts here, but I will say I enjoy having Ruby and Zeremonie part of our family. There might be more females I don't know, and I'm sorry if I have overlooked them. This is a very diverse community and I like having their viewpoint on what many of us have to discuss. I don't care what the website name is. I'm just glad they participate.

Just speaking for myself (since that is all I can do)..... I welcome any and all to JUB, except for people that hate gays. The mods usually take care of them before they post too much anyway.

This is a fine and inclusive site. Everyone is welcome as long as they behave themselves.... just as they would be welcomed to my living room.

That's all. :D :D

First off, I must come to the defense of mac_twck. Imho, her statement was not trying to cause trouble.

Secondly, I don't see an online community as anything like a men's lockerroom. There are no urinals here, and no real life in person conversation. However, I've been to many JUB meet ups, and never once have I encountered it to be a problem as being a woman there. I've been to many a wonderful JUB meet up.

Would it make any difference to you if this site were still called lmao.ca ?

I would wonder where you draw the line? So in your opinion does that mean that one who is intersexed, or who is transgendered also doesn't belong here?

I'm sorry you feel you have to restrain yourself in your posting. Maybe after a while you'll get used to the girls here. Since it is an online forum, I can't even tell who are the women until they tell me!! I know that guys often think that I'm Eduardo (my avatar) and not a girl in Seattle.

I would think anybody who is friendly toward the gay community would be welcome here. Exclusionary attitudes can only serve to increase hostile feelings toward gays, and I would say there is plenty enough of that to go around as is.

Well, you first started off by offending the women here and you said that you HATED women...You're being served with the same plate....:confused:

:nono: Oh Please! It's amazing how people make things up to try to prove someone wrong. Show me just where I said I HATED women. You won't find it. I said I have bitterness towards women. Bitterness and hate are two entirely different things. Perhaps I should have said I have bitterness towards women who make it known that they think women are superior. In my experience, this is not an uncommon attitude.

I agree. I don't see an online message board as anything like a real-world locker room.

For one thing, it smells better. :D

But seriously, this is a discussion board where I hope that people are free to post whatever's on their minds, so long as they adhere to the Rules of Conduct. I really don't care that some of those thoughts come from the mind of a woman, I just care that they come.

And I appreciate having a little estrogen to grace these testosterone-drenched bits and bytes flying around the fiber optic cables, switches, and routers that make up the Internet.

For that matter, I know of several transsexual members here. Are they women or men? I personally don't care. They've said some of the most interesting, profound things I've read here.

I, like Mel, hope that you eventually feel comfortable enough to say whatever's on your mind without worrying about who sees it. :-)

This is one example:

Perhaps you should read my words that you put in bold again.

Like I said, bitter and hate, two different things. The female attitude I am referring to is, like I said, the superiority femenist attitude as well as the "I'm a girl, the world revolves around me" attitude.

What does it matter if I don't let many women get close to me? It's a trust issue from being burned. Again, not hate.

Your second example.... "DON'T HATE". elvin1=:bs:

Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear....

This has trouble written all over it.

I'll admit, when I joined JUB (my first account back in the days of LinkMeAllOver) I was a bit confuddled when I discovered women lurking among us.

But, after the initial shock...You actually grow accustomed to having them here.

Spend some time in the chat room, and if you're lucky, one of them will happen to stumble in and they can be some of the most entertaining and amusing people in the room.

Never a dull time with them around, so it seems.

And since it fits, and I admire Henry Higgins:

"I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" from "My Fair Lady"

Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn!
I've grown accustomed to her face.
She almost makes the day begin.
I've grown accustomed to the tune that
She whistles night and noon.
Her smiles, her frowns,
Her ups, her downs
Are second nature to me now;
Like breathing out and breathing in.
I was serenely independent and content before we met;
Surely I could always be that way again-
And yet
I've grown accustomed to her look;
Accustomed to her voice;
Accustomed to her face.

"Marry Freddy." What an infantile idea. What a heartless,
wicked, brainless thing to do. But she'll regret, she'll
regret it. It's doomed before they even take the vow!

I can see her now, Mrs. Freddy Eynsford-Hill
In a wretched little flat above a store.
I can see her now, not a penny in the till,
And a bill collector beating at the door.
She'll try to teach the things I taught her,
And end up selling flowers instead.
Begging for her bread and water,
While her husband has his breakfast in bed.
In a year, or so, when she's prematurely grey,
And the blossom in her cheek has turned to chalk.
She'll come home, and lo, he'll have upped and run away
With a social-climbing heiress from New York.
Poor Eliza. How simply frightful!
How humiliating! How delightful!
How poignant it'll be on that inevitable night
When she hammers on my door in tears and rags.
Miserable and lonely, repentant and contrite.
Will I take her in or hurl her to the walls?
Give her kindness or the treatment she deserves?
Will I take her back or throw the baggage out?

But I'm a most forgiving man;
The sort who never could, ever would,
Take a position and staunchly never budge.
A most forgiving man.
But, I shall never take her back,
If she were even crawling on her knees.
Let her promise to atone;
Let her shiver, let her moan;
I'll slam the door and let the hell-cat freeze!

"Marry Freddy"- ha!

But I'm so used to hear her say
"Good morning" ev'ry day.
Her joys, her woes,
Her highs, her lows,
Are second nature to me now;
Like breathing out and breathing in.
I'm very grateful she's a woman
And so easy to forget;
Rather like a habit
One can always break-
And yet,
I've grown accustomed to the trace
Of something in the air;
Accustomed to her face.

So in that case, if what you 'dislike' is a female attitude then girls on a message board should be no problem. You can ignore all of them (but me) if you can figure out who is a girl and who is a boy!! LOL.

You may not call it hate per se, but my thinking is you've got an extraordinary amount of anger going on. Maybe a big girl hug will help! :mrgreen:
