Fifty Shades of Grey [merged]

I have a legitimate question about 50 SHADES OF GREY Please to answer!

So I know that probably don't give a shit about 50 shades of grey, and that's understandable. I will admit it is poorly written, it's hetero, and if you're not into BDSM people cry abuse because she doesn't want it (except she does that comes later, near the end of the second book) This year I'm keeping a list of every book I read, title author and year of publication. Every 50 shades book came out in 2012! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT??? I know it was fanfiction but did she really just have to do a find and replace "Edward" for "Christian" to get these out the door? If someone could enlighten me, I'd be obliged.

As a side note, as a man who just went through a break up, I happen to enjoy the books more than I thought I would. I'm starting the 3rd and final one tonight.

Well that's two hours of my life I'll never get back! Thank god I didn't pay for it. Why do people think this is the greatest movie yet? It's not.
 
I have no plans of seeing this movie but i find it very weird that this was originally twilight fan fiction. Just imagine the characters being bella and edward. How weird would that be.
