All I got from it is he eventually slept with the woman, then he pushed the gay guy away after that. And he pushed her away too. I don't understand what happened at the hospital, etc.

The thing is that it has a hot scene where "El Nene" is having sex with a woman he came across. In a conversation between them, she realizes how much he loves his partner: Angel (he talks about him as he were his twin), but Angel has a mental disorder. That, drugs and the fact that Angel is privet him from sex due to a sort of superstition towards semen, apart from the creasing attraction he's feeling for this woman, is that they ended up fucking.
She knows Nene's feelings for Angel, but she hopes he leaves him for her.

I don't know what they're saying either. I assume she realized she was too possessive of him and was using him, and needed to let him live his own life.

That's one of the first movies with this theme I ever saw. The scene (and there is a later scene too) is hot as hell...unfortunately intercut with his partner nearly killing himself.

There are so many gems out there...anyway the story of the film is based on real life but I cant find the real life story anywhere.
