First GAY KISS on Daytime TV on ATWT

The argument regarding Nuke can be said for other storylines as well. I'm sure everyone knows that one couple doesn't make the entire show, though in this site's case, it does since a large number (from what I can tell) only have the interest to watch this show providing Nuke is on. I love Nuke as well, but they really don't have much of a storyline right now. Hopefully we will see Noah expressing his love and their relationship develop further, and interacting with the college world or at least a bigger circle outside the Snyder family.

The Jack and Carly (along with Brad and Katy) show has become irritating, since they have gotten far more airtime, but in my opinion, they have the more interesting storyline, or at least the most entertaining.

Anyway, my point in the drawn out post, lol, is don't expect Nuke to be on every week just because they're cute. They don't have much of a deep storyline besides Luke recovering from his temporary paralysis.

Wow...I really have grown quite fond of this show, now thinking about it, lol.

i can't believe how much i'm gettin into this show either. for the most part i try to avoid CBS daytime. started watching ATWT for Brad, but i'm actually kinda gettin into the other stories too. one thing though...and i know i'm prolly gonna get hated on for this but i usually skip the Nuke scenes.

For some reason I am such a Meg Snyder fan. I love that woman! :D
[I think her storyline with Paul and Craig is pretty good, but Rosanna is starting to annoy me][/QUOTE]

Meg does seem to have an odd likeability but i'm not sure if it's actually her character or the actress that i like. back in the day i didn't mind Rosanna too much but that was when Yvonne Perry had the role and she wasn't such a bitch. the character was more likeable as "poor little little rich girl" rather than jealous whore she is today.

btw...does anybody remember the guy who played Evan Walsh...not the current character, but i guess it'd be his father. back when Judson Mills and Parker Posey were on the show. He and Judson were seriously hot--especially Judson.

OMG

I watched Monday, December 3's episode on www.cbs.com this morning and ...

THE HAIR DEPT. HAVE GIVEN ROSANNA'S OLD WEAVE TO ALISON STEWART !!!

Did anybody else notice this? LOL

And God, the acting has gotten horrible on this show!!! Please enough of the under-acting Sophie and her over-reacting to everything boyfriend!!! Even Jack is almost unbearable to watch these days!!!

so...Casey's coming back. but NOT played Zack--whatever his last name was, he was HOT, but broadway actor Billy Magnussen. whoever the fuck that is!!!

Right. Zach Roerig is a fucking little stud -- not in a classically handsome, A&F way (even though he modeled for them so go figure) but in a raw, bad boy next door sort of way. Roerig's one of the few celebs I have on my MySpace Friends panel.

He actually spent some time in Llanview this summer playing bad boy Hunter on "One Life To Live."

didn't Hunter seem almost pointless? i was excited to see where they might go with the character--whether or not they were gonna try and redeem him. i know the role was SUPPOSED to be temporary but thought he had alot of potential. actually i think i would've enjoyed him more as Hunter then Casey.

Very good point. It makes you wonder why he left his role on "As The World Turns" after two years, for a four-week stint on "One Life To Live."

Actually, I would have prefered NuSarah take off rather than Hunter. Roerig's face is needed on daytime TV in a daytime world of 6'3, chiselled mannequin hunk-clones (hi, Cameron Mathison & Don Diamont).

BTW, Willsboy, is that you in your avatar? LOL

Alright, I'll have to admit something... I just spent the last 2-3 hours on YouTube watching all the videos. From Part 1 to Part 40. Afterwards, I DVR'd ATWT so I can watch it after work. It's pretty entertaining!

:rotflmao:

Great observation...

Btw...am I the only one who LOVES Barbara's scenes with Iris? They crack me up when they're together.

Nope. I love them as well. I'm just sad that their alliance is over now. I haven't seen evil Barbie yet, so maybe I'm naive in feeling upset for her when she was found out and disowned by Will and Gwen.

First we get little to no Nuke on the show. Now we get very little talk about Nuke in a thread dedicated to them. Nice.

offtopic: . . . please.

Grandma Synder says Luke's bedroom is off-limits to Noah. But she didn't say that Luke can't sneak down to the parlor couch in the middle of the night for some hanky panky with Noah! :-<

i don't watch this everyday so i might just be missing it but do luke and noah ever kiss? beside the initial kiss. aren't soaps known for the dramatic kissing scenes. what gives? they barely hug. it's so weird.they are a couple after all. im sure sex is off limits given luke's injury. but there's other things they can do. they're college guys who never get horny?

it's almost like the writers came up with luke's ridiculous injury to keep their contact limited to luke's physical therapy.i bet when he's fully recovered noah's gonna get killed, or have to leave, or realize he's straight again.

I love them together, too.

And for whomever said they missed out on when Barbara (Colleen Zenk Pinter) was a bitch!!! Wow! You missed out.

The actress was on the show for 20+ years before she got her first Emmy nomination and it was for the work she did when she went psycho bad ass circa 2000- 01.

They barely do anything. They barely talk. They're barely on the show. They're barely given a script. CBS barely has any interest in their gay viewers.
^Word^.

Sad to think that a 'gay relationship' was just so much fodder for a brief ratings spike.... But, there ya go.

Gone is the summer audience, gone is slightest hint of anything controversial.

Heaven forbid we raise any eyebrows in Peoria, especially during the holidays when we should be focusing on buying Crisco (ahh, irony) and any number of tubed processed goo's from Pillsbury.

But, don't fret.

Perhaps next summer's plot line will feature a murder at an amusement park, or something equally thought-provoking.
