For single guys...

I'm single because I'm not your average gay guy. I'm overweight.

I'm single because I live in a small town where there is no gay interaction, no clubs, nothing. But I'm also happy living here because it's a beautiful town where the sun sets twice and the summers are awesome and the festivals are great.

I'm single because I don't get involved in the gay community because I simply don't wish to. I'm supportive but I don't need to attend parades to feel proud of myself.

I'm single because I'm a geek. I love Doctor Who, video games and I'm a movie buff. Lot of people get turned off on this.

Lastly I'm single because I never seem to be in the right place at the right time. I seem to find the odd gay guy here in town that might be up for the summer (cottage country) or having to move back in with his parents after college (22 to 26 year olds) but they never seem interested when I get introducted to them on the street. Mainly because I'm just a laid back guy.

I don't know.....Not everybody finds true love in this cruel world. Maybe I'm one of those people?
 
I'm single because I'm too good for the market. I would be the perfect boyfriend, yet to meet someone worthy of more than a glace... and I live in one of the largest gay cities in the U.S.

I guess it's all just fluff and garbage in the out, proud and pretty group. Just a bunch of oversexed morons that wouldn't know a quality guy if he kicked them in their Armani Exchange covered backsides.

I have a bad feeling that all the worthy guys out there just haven't come out and probably never will.

I have to yet add "decrepit" to my personal description but if other's opinions apply then I probably fit the bill.

Even when you are old and experienced finding a partner is just as difficult as when you are 19yrs old.
 
I am single because I have broken up with my girlfriend like a week ago...looking back at which I think it was a fair enough decision.

I'm single because people are turned off by my rage-filled, incessant rants about how Jimmie Johnson just passed Jeff Gordon (again). If Jimmie Johnson wins the championship this year, I'll be single forever because nobody will want to be around my perpetually cranky-ass self.
 
Im single because i have ZERO reason to be in a relationship. Im never "alone" i have friends and family. I wish to not live in a place at where there are "rules" and that i have to be mindful of any one else, i cum and go as i please. Being in a relationship at this age will just end in heart break and will just wind up hurting each other. They CAN'T end well. I take that back, being a man, its never a good time to get "married".

And if im ever going to be with someone im going to have 7 partners, so it can be an adventure every night. And if i have to narrow that down i would want three guys. I want a brazilian guy to fuck, a white guy to pay my bills and a Mexican to clean up afterwards.
 
I'm single because I don't want to burden someone with my current health problems. I also have responsibilities that prevent me from cultivating a relationship. I've enjoyed good relationships in the past and maybe one day I will again.

And really I just don't care about finding a mate.

I am a bit saddened by some of these responses, but I know where some of you are coming from. (*8*)

I am overweight also, and I never thought I'd ever meet someone that would desire me in any way, especially sexually since I'm not a skinny super model. :rolleyes:

I joined a singles website and here I am a month later dating a great guy that is VERY turned on by me sexually, which right now is something I'm still scratching my head about. :confused:

So I am sharing this with you guys as a means of giving you hope. There ARE people out there that will actually like you for who you are and accept you even if you aren't a skinny minnie. :gogirl:

I'm single because I'm not particularly attractive, and hence am not really what guys around my age are looking for.

I'm also single because I didn't respond to the numerous 40-60 year old white men who messaged me on my (now deleted) gaydar.com profile. I don't regret it.
