Forcing the girl fetish on all men

I'm confused?

Whats the girl fetish and what does that website have to do with it. Theres to much too read on there.

Girl fetish=heterosexuality

And the website is talking about nothing else than heterosexuality or almost.

You click on the items and you read. If you remain on the first page, you 're learning nothing. It is an Indian's website. I don't agree with everything, but agree on the main lines.

That's a really interesting site. Not sure what your question has to do with it. It's just a collection of articles and insights on issues within masculinity. Seems vaguely queer theory/masculine studies/Camilla Paglia-ish.

If I'm reading these articles correctly, I'm extremely masculine. lolololol.
Although so would be Lauren Bacall.

The oppression of men is extremely complex....

Teehee.

I guess I won't be learning today... I couldn't get past the first sentence...

Then forget my question and focus on the site. When he talks about beauty, how much female beauty is forced on us, while we have to consider all guys as perfectly ugly. I lived in a world where all men were seen as perfectly ridiculous because of their dicks and perfectly ugly. I never got used to the idea. The contrary happened.

It is so complex because men are used as the instruments of their own oppression. A man who does not oppress, control,.. his brother, is no man. A man who does not despise other men and says it loud, is no man. A man who does not "emulate" his brother, is no man. All my education has been ONLY - repeat ONLY - been about "emulating" other men. "Emulate" used as an euphemism for "Kill him", otherwise we risk to get not amused at all.

I can understand that. My upbringing taught me early on that a penis was something to be ashamed of, and that pubic hair was a sign of vulnerability to the Devil.

The subjugation of a weak minded man is simple...

Individual Culpability = no peer pressure

A strong minded man recognizes influences and the colorization of the situations and occurrences of society and then makes decisions based on his true desires often times despite.

Now, the origins of his desire is a field of study worthy of rumination and instances of emotions are to be expected.... but in no way does that mean one has to become a slave to those emotions. Whether good or bad, the are but a "thing" also and are not permanent.

I'm gonna stop here and see if anyone is following...

Lost me in the Introduction... characterizing the male gender as "the most powerful human gender." I guess I'm a feminist, but while I am perfectly willing to address the social oppression of males, I refuse to allow that men are intrinsically more powerful than women, or even marginally better than women.

I think that the bottom line of this oppression is that it's essentially man-made and caused (I think) by the oppression of women. I mean, up until about a hundred and fifty years ago, women had no rights at all and very little power. But during the last hundred and fifty years, women have been gaining power, from the reign of Victoria onward, women have become social powers and began the process of crawling out from under the millenia of oppression in Western society. And as a reaction, men have had to try and justify their positions as lords and masters of their women, and to illustrate this they became as unlike women as possible.

You'll note that it was during the nineteenth century (following the overthrow of "natural order" of monarchy and colonialism in France and America; overseen by a female monarch in Britain for most of the century) that men's clothing became more severe and less colorful than women's clothing; and it was during that same time that men had to be strong, stalwart, strictly homosocial (gentlemen's clubs etc.) and exclusively heterosexual (enforcing sodomy laws).

In the US, in particular, there was this idealization of the Pioneer/Adventurer who was always an emotionless automaton bent on conquest and discovery. It was an image of escape from the feminine wiles of cities, being completely alone or living in mostly-male towns where the only females were whores, and there weren't enough of them to worry about.

And there wouldn't have to be an escape if men weren't feeling threatened by the growth and blossoming of women's power. That was the bete noire that drove men West, that women were in control of all social function, from dinner parties to weddings to funerals, and would "trap" a man in marriage as soon as look at him. Much easier to retreat among men and shoot at each other.

At any rate, men will not escape from their self-imposed oppression until they accept the equal if different power of women and stop trying to find ways to be better than them. I think that's the mistake that so many men's movements make, they retreat amongst themselves and beat drums and weep, but then they have to go back to their wives and girlfriends and haven't addressed the problem itself.

Anyway, my two cents.

A thousand posts and you're just now making a double post?

I bet you've been oppressed by women, so your double-posting creativity was repressed.

Only if I consider my pos comp a lady...

You missed me... A strong minded man recognizes the attempt and either shuns it or allows it depending on his true desires... and a strong minded man knows himself and what his desires are... there is no way to maneuver him without his consent...if he desires the girl he gets her, if he doesn't he doesn't. maybe...

Man > boy

Oh wow, they are serious at that website huh?

"..how society uses male gender and sexual roles to oppress men."
:dead:
