Fox News argues over Obama win

You might want to reread what he said.

It took less than 10 days for the press and dem's to make Katrina a political and racial issue.

I think W & Brownie did that on their own, by sitting on their asses & doing nothing but flying over LA

I have a helpful perspective about FEMA: in the last few disasters we've had here, they've sometimes been fantastic and sometimes been total boobs. I no longer expect them to do anything but bumble through, so when they do better than that, I applaud.

There have been four major disaster declarations in the State of Oregon during the Obama Administration. Three involved effects from severe winter storms and one was a tsunami wave surge. There were also two fire assistance declarations in 2009. Are the last few disasters you referenced all included in the period of the Obama Administration?

You made a statement saying one race was better than the other.

Not working. Please play the politically correct whenever I choose to be game elsewhere... of course if you had ever refuted a benvolio xenophobia statement you might have credibility but you really dont when you pick and choose when to become upset.

The racism on Fox News was evident... they went after minorities insulting them. I can assure everyone minorities work harder than Palin, Trump or Rove.

I hope Palin, Trump and Rove stick around. Palin and Rove are experts at separating gullible conservatives from their money. All three are experts at making the Republicans look stupid and ridiculous.

Bill Maher nailed it tonight on Hardball...the Republicans exist in their own word with their own facts and then they're shocked when those facts aren't upheld in the real world

Yes, there was a discussion of this on NPR today.

It seems that Mitt Romney, his entire campaign team, and Karl Rove were all truly surprised that they did not win - even though their impending defeat was fairly obvious to virtually everyone else going into the election. Republicans live in a world of their own facts, including their own polling data.

Romney was surprised that Pennsylvania was called for Obama so early in the election, even though virtually every poll (except Romney's own) had Pennsylvania a virtual lock for Obama. Romney was surprised that Florida was so close. He was surprised that North Carolina was not called for him early in the vote tallying. He did not bother to write a concession statement, because he was certain of his own victory.

The Republican inability to see beyond the phantoms of their own creation is just remarkable.

Actually I'm thinking back into the Bush years, too. I only recall two here during Obama's term -- but I may have missed one; roads blocked by trees and landslides and flooding are par for the course so I may not have noticed any announcement.

Get over your problem.
Sorry to say but actually you, Jack are as much a part of the problem as any left minded poster here. taking what one says out of context isn't right no matter who's doing it. I've seen that several times on the right here....and I'm closer to tem here politically than those on the left. This one being one....remember also the foolish controversy about Obama calling the Chinese our closest allies when he was CLEARLY referencing Romney's gaffe while in the UK of outwardly specuating the UK was unprepared for the Olympic Games? Obama said that if Romney couldn't even deal well with our closest allies(the UK) how can we expect him to have the respect of the Chinese? There is NO excuse for lazy(or worse) mischaracterizing words to fit a particular agenda no matter WHO does it.

Easy, demagogic and small minded but no doubt typical. Of course had Romney "stolen" the election successfully the left wouldn't have tears but all out foaming at the mouth rage. Unhinged would get taken to a higher level than Rovian... which grant you was pathetic enough. For every Trumpian flip out that was cringe worthy, these goal line stand spiking the football, high fiving the crowd and dancing til the cows come home shows the innate jerkiness, snarkiness and utter hypocrisy of most progressive activists.

I'm not in tears. Cycles go up and down in politics.... be sure you can handle the situation if reversed more intelligently and thoughtfully. Don't think for the most part that would happen.

Get over your problem.

Actually, you're having a serious problem lately. You've been called out a lot on your posts, and your most recent form of defense has been to label everyone else a racist. Why the overcompensation? Stick with the topic.

It was an interesting turn of events on Fox News with that election call debacle. It says a lot about how the Republicans were living in a fantasy world about how they thought they were going to win. The electoral college did not add up for them.

The guy said that hispanics worked harder than the people he referred to who were all white.

I take offense to that -- hard work all depends on the person -- not the color of their skin.

So you think a group that includes laborers typically work less than paper pushing bureaucrats who you know gives speeches and agree to things written for them?

How Odd a definition of work. No wonder Missouri has such a difficult time finding workers. :D

Ok, I was wrong in you mentioning hispanics. I admit that and I'm sorry.

However, your original statement stings with racism. How do you know those people don't work hard?

Why not just admit your statement was wrong.
