This is hilarious. I saw Huff Post mention this earlier and well to put it succinctly

Fact and Fox News collide

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/06/fox-news-argues-obama-ohio_n_2085817.html?ref=topbar
Fox News had what can only be described as an insane argument with itself over whether or not President Obama had won Ohio, and the presidency.

The network seemed quite confident in its projections at first, but suddenly, pundit Karl Rove — who, as leader of a huge conservative Super PAC has something of an interest in the outcome of the race — began to pour cold water on the call.

Poor Faux News. It must suck to spend 24/7 brainwashing your audience and have it backfire.

Perhaps THIS will put an end to the myth that Rove is some kind of genius.

He was wrong last time too, but that didn't stop the right from licking his asshole.

They are still in a state of shock.

So true Ninja and Trump was last seen sitting on the floor of his office in the fetal position sucking his thumb :p

The 61 year-old, a high profile political pundit for the Rupert Murdoch-owned television network, warned presenters needed to be “careful” before counting had finished and lambasted presenters for "intruding on the process".
His comments provoked an extraordinary row with anchor Chris Wallace, who was left visibly stunned by the questioning. Another presenter, Bret Baier, later suggested Mr Rove potentially needed to be examined by a psychiatrist.

And I missed it all.

Darn.

At the time he was talking, he had a point; it really shouldn't have been called yet. But what he wasn't saying was that the Republican areas that still hadn't reported were less populous than the Democratic areas, which meant that Obama's 900 vote lead was destined to start increasing, and unlikely to get overtaken. Sure, if Cincinnati had suddenly voted wildly differently than in the past, Romney coud have pulled it out, but none of the precincts in the area had deviated significantly from historical patterns, so there was no reason to even hope those yet unreported would be anything different.

In short, Rove had a point -- it shouldn't really have been called for Obama at that time -- but in order to get what he was implying, that Romney could still pull it off, required some rather outlandish assumptions.

Seen a clip of Oreilly saying if Obama wins its because they know they can get free stuff if he is POTUS. I have many friends who work like I do and we don't get shit and neither do a lot of his supporters. Is he implying no Republican supporters are not on gov assistance or unemployment ? Dumb fuck.

The biggest fucking entitlement in the country is the tax breaks for the super rich. They mooch off the federal teat to a degree beyond the wildest wettest dreams of the poor.

Bill Maher nailed it tonight on Hardball...the Republicans exist in their own word with their own facts and then they're shocked when those facts aren't upheld in the real world....they have to make fair and balanced more of a reality than a joke if they want to seriously play in the big leagues ever again....

Got a link?

Bill O'Reilly blamed hurricane sandy and said it changed the election... I don't even know why I tuned in on Fox News... I just wanted to see all the nasty excuses. First time I've ever watched that station.

It did change the election, but not enough to change the game. It might have given Virginia to Obama, but that's about all I can see.

I'm confused

I just watched the videos attached

it was good TV

Rove thought that with x% left and Republican "to come" that maybe the call was too early

megan kelly going into the fact folks was pretty good

and they stood their ground

this is a bullshit story

rove has credibility - his role in getting gwb elected 2x gives him that

now chris matthews saying he was glad for hurricane sandy ......... that's something else ;)

as for Sandy- if it had any real impact, it was Romney saying he'd cut FEMA and maybe exposing the Repub notion climate change is a hoax- storm left a lot of people thinking it's definitely for real.

people in staten island and brooklyn are still wondering what fema is

cuz it's not something that's helping them

Which didn't affect voters in Florida who know damn well what FEMA is.

Karl Rove wanted to prove that Dick Morris was right that Romney would win an landslide.

You're saying people didn't vote for Obama because of the free stuff?

Women -- free birth control

Young people - new relaxed government only college loans

Illegal aliens -- free stay in the US

New easier rules on cell phones, welfare, food stamps
