Franken Destroys Focus On The Family Witness

Franken is smart, honest and an absolute stickler for facts. Read one of Franken's books and it's astounding the depths he will analyse, and the rigid citations and references he provides.
 
Al Franken appears quite statesmanlike. His opponents still think of him as a comedian. Mitch McConnell, showing us his greatest strength (the cheap shot), tried to chastise Sen. Franken on the Senate floor when he said, "We're not on Saturday Night Live now." Any time someone appears to be intelligent, the Neocons can't stand it. What a pity! :cry:

So, one guy was the woman and the other I assume played the role of the man? Am I reading that correctly?

I'm convinced that all you need are two parents. A Somali refugee is valedvictorian at a local high school. He was dodging bombs in Mogadishu and has no clue how old he is. Yet he comes to America, learning his 4th language, and cakewalks to the top of his class. Single-parent homes are everywhere in that neighborhood.

I talked to an older lady, that subbed at the school, about how bad the kids are and even some of the refugees were turning bad as more and more became Americanized. One benefit they had though was two parents. The US gives preference to intact families. It was good to call home and to soon see a change of behavior the next day. The echo chamber with having two parents in priceless.

I used to be a "live and let live" kind of guy. The guy that testified in front of Franken ignores a known problem (broken families and children) and instead takes on gay parenting. This is purely an agenda.

I belong to a BMW board for a little less than 15 years, since elementary school. I lurked there and didn't post until about 16. Well one guy I really respected starting talking about how he's against gay marriage and that kids will be confused by having two dads. I guess having two moms never entered his head. Well, I recently found out that he just had a kid out of wedlock and he's not even dating the woman. The hypocrisy. I would have called him on his shit but a) the board is pretty liberal, they were taking him to task and b) I like BMWs more than I like him.
