  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Friend makes out with his bf makes me feel uncomfortable

I suggest humour. Take out a camera and pretend you're directing a photo shoot.

click click click Oh yeah, work it! The camera is loving this! click click click click More tongue! Okay now kiss him on the cheek, then back to the tongue. click click click click Okay now grab the back of his head while you make out....GREAT!!! AWESOME!!! Wait. Hold that pose for a minute I have to change my F stop. Waaaaaaittt...waaaaiitttt......

Chace, you ain't alone. (*8*) My roommates are a straight couple. And, while I love 'em both to death, nothing makes me say, "Really?! Seriously?!" like being awakened at 11pm or Midnight, when I went to bed early (when I work early shifts and have to be up later that night, at 4.30 in the morning), to the sound of...

UGH! UGH! AW, SHIT! (/banging noise on the bedroom walls, most likely their bed's headboard...) AH-AH-AH-AH-AAAAAHHHHH!!! MMMMMMMMMMM!!

Glad I never had to see that when I was with a couple (gay), but the constant talk they had of their mutual friends (that I've never heard of) made me feel just as left out.

You have every right to be uncomfortable. As hot as some of my friends are as couples, I would find it rude if they started to just make-out in front of me when we're hanging out. I mean, why is it necessary? I don't know anyone who has done that to me, and most couples are pretty respectful.

You've received some good advice above about leaving the room to make a point. Or you can just start rubbing yourself through your pants and when they notice in revulsion you can just say, "What? I'm horny just like you guys, so I'm having a wank with myself." They'll never do that to you again. ;)

Maybe you are boring and they want you to leave.

Or perhaps, they want you to join in.

Most of my friends are currently partnered and they show their affection in public. It's not such a big problem.

I can understand what OP means. No-one wants to be a third wheel. One of my friends got a girlfriend once and the minute she turned up, bang, straight into tongue kissing. Never mind if you were having a conversation, oh no.

This was back in High School and I must admit I was like 'Could you just not for a second?'

showing affection in public by holding hands or a quick peck on the cheek doesn't bother me.
But gay or straight, full out make out sessions need to be behind closed doors, not in public.
