This thread is wonderful ... some of the pics are very amusing but many of the defensive posts are utterly laughable.

I find that this entire thread to be seriously Blasphemous, with the exception of a very few that display Romney, Santorum, and Palin, etc. All else is Blasphemy.

In other words, the threads speak the truth about the absurdity of religion. Whatsamatta, can't handle truth?

I'm sure you won't take it personally, but the forum on religion is probably the best place to air why other contrary viewpoints should be put right. As far as I'm concerned, the thread was supposed be for people to perhaps find some humour in the pics rather than a philosophical debate about the precision of the points made in the picture. However 'ignorant' those points may be to you.

It is akin to making a pun on a word only to have someone point out the two words you're making fun of are spelt differently.

Ignorance is not a "viewpoint".

We may conclude that most jokes are bad, "bad-fetched", but they are jokes in the end, meant to be jokes. The worse, sadder jokes include people trying to very seriously demonstrate how a joke is silly, or how they can very rationally demonstrate that some particular sort of religious faith is developed with exquisite coherence from an epic poetry book forged in the course of centuries by different people with political interests, and that whatever does not fit into human reason is a rational prove of the superior understanding it coonveys: they are the first ones to defile rationally whatever may be of superior unnderstanding in them.
