Surprising that you are not rather commenting on how wrong are the kids by mistaking "virgin births" like that of Jesus, from cases of rape like that of Rhea Silvia, or from plain cases of mystification like that of Zoroaster... or Elvis.

Most of the "Christians" claiming persecution have no clue. I was physically persecuted for being a Christian, so until someone is stealing their stuff and throwing it in the gutter, or hitting them with snowballs with ice chunks inside, because they're Christians, they can just shut their traps. Words are not persecution, they're part of the game! These wimps are acting as though Jesus said, "You will be in the world, and the world is supposed to love you; it it doesn't, kick ass and force it to!" Unfortunately for them, what Jesus taught was that the world was going to hate His followers, and those followers were supposed to respond with love and patience and caring and forgiveness and joy. Even His apostle wrote, "Count if all joy, when you encounter various trials" -- not, "Get pissed and fight back, when people give you trials".

Interesting shirt. However, Christianity doesn't deny the existence of other gods; in fact the Psalms actually acknowledge their existence -- though without telling much about their nature -- in the course of noting that YHWH is head over them all.

BTW, this thread is fun -- it's led me indirectly to several articles on the claims of irreducible complexity and one on measuring the age of mountains, stuff I hadn't seen before.

I really feel sorry for the young earth Creationists; they're totally missing out on the glory of creation.
