Well, it can always be said that whenever someone is intending to be funny, most people won't people the jokes funny, no matter what topic they are about, so why would it be any different with religion.

As if the Bible isn't a tool for lying in and of itself...

Sam Harris is but one man. The bible is well distribute and just about as many interpretations of what it says as there are preachers to prostitute it.

A lot of the pictures I think are pretty funny, it's just that a lot of the comments to people who criticize the content are very snarky and condescending...I mean, come on. You're better than that.

Those proud Christians would say that "oh, you are not open minded: you say you would change your mind but you are just at least as full of yourself and your opinions as you said about our faith"... and they will probably be quite right, since problem lies in the terms in which you express the question: it is not about wrapping the whole question up in the final reaction someone would have at the end of a question; it is not about feelings, or about a result, but about the discussion itself, and if you get out of the discussion itself to speak of labels essentially meaning nothing in themselves (which is what all adjectives are) like "reasonable", or nouns which are just as essentially meaningless because they merely do the job of qualifying, like "belief", you are not, not going anywhere, to get a result, which I just said is not the point, but you won't be even be making the sense to be as "reasonable" as you pretend while supposedly being rational and discussing.
