i know i just had a bit of a rant, but in my opinion the last thing people like that need, is critisism from both sides of the fence, it must be hard enough for them.

The stereotypes many people hold about gays would be smashed more frequently if these so-called masculine men were not hiding who and what they are.

Besides, they suck dick, so the typical homophobe isn't going to buy this g0y shit. Hell, my heterosexual friends who are very accepting would still call these guys gay.

And calling yourself something that has a number in the middle of it so that it can't be pronounced is just annoying on top of it.

To add: I get a little sick of seeing people defend them with the "well, we're doing the same thing to them that homophobes do to us" bullshit. No, it's not the same for us to criticize them. The difference is that we are perfectly willing to accept them for who they are, but they are rejecting us to try and distance themselves so they can be perceived as more palatable in some way. "Oh, no, we're not gay, we don't take it up the ass." As though taking a man's hot load in their mouths makes them more manly than a bottom who makes his top wear a condom.

If a man is more comfortable self-identifying as G0y rather than Bi or Gay then so be it, it is afterall their choice.

Personally, I've never met anyone who views themselves that way but in visiting a few of the websites devoted to this "movement", I can say in all honesty that it's not for me.

I found the excusionary aspects and negative attitudes espoused by the people running the sites towards those who don't fit into their "new" definition a really big turn off.

Having never met an honest to goodness G0y, I hope they aren't all like the people running these sites for them and if they are, I wish them well.

In the long run though, I can't see this as anything more than a fad...

I'm all for g0ys having their own identity, but can they do it without the sexism and transphobia?

Really g0y just comes across as a homophobic apology for same sex attractions.

BTW, do these morons know that "goy" is also a commonly-used yiddish term to mean foreign or gentile? You would think that they'd do a little research, first. What idiocy.

Note: Hey, can this/is this on the same plane as in the term "On The Down Low??? Whereas, Black People do NOT see themselves as being gay (usually "married" black-men who otherwise see them-selves as being totally straight; but just happen to get some on the side?????

All well and good except that the Clay Aiken in your mind doesn't resemble Clay Aiken in real life or on stage. He is not the super effeminate that he is portrayed as by the comedians and the gay media. Comments like the one above prove that Lex doesn't know anything about Clay Aiken but simply regurgitates what he has heard over and over from other people who don't have any first hand knowledge either.
