I like it because it annoys the shit out of hipsters.
wouldn't hipsters be up on the trend though since it's weird and different looking?

... it's on its way to one billion views ...
Total shit........
Its just another novelty "song" that will be forgotten in 12 months. If there is a God.
The video did the trick.
without the video, this song wouldn't be this popular.
LMFAO, Justin Beiber, Rhianna, etc are also popular in those countries and they sing in English.Americans were entrenched in Korea during MJs era? Doesn't apply, Koreans (therefore the Korean language) don't have the ability/influence Americans (ergo, English) have on foreign culture.
I suppose it doesn't matter...no one will remember his name this time next year and in another year or so someone else will break his YouTube record. 'Tis the ever-evolving life of the Internet.
You're a few months too late. The song's BEEN popular for a while now. It was to the Fall season what the "Call Me Maybe" song was to the Summer season: overplayed and overparodied. It is currently the number 1 most viewed video on youtube; and it's on its way to one billion views. I personally like it so I give it three thumbs up. I think the lead singer's very funny and I like the beat. What are your opinions on this video? What did you like about it?
I think this is just a fluke and most likely won't lead to a trend.
So many Korean pop acts have tried to break into the American market but have little to no success.

Welcome to the new global economy. Korean pop music is starting to invade America. Just because they don't speak English means nothing. As long as the beat is good. For a Canadian, I am surprised by your narrow minded views.
