gay/bi/homo should be executed

Facts are not opinions, yours or anyone's. Evidence is fact, proof, not wishful and/or magical thinking. It certainly is not faith, which, I should not need to remind you, is the foundation of Christianity. Nor are facts anecdotal stories and/or superstitious beliefs.

No religion can even aspire to base itself on facts and evidence, regardless of how long it has existed, whether thousands or tens of years. No matter how many adherents there are to a religion, millions or tens or one, none can cite facts and/or evidence proving the religion is not based on anything but faith and magic, despite any attempt by you or anyone else to change the meanings of the words fact and evidence and proof.

Religion requires faith, no matter how silly, not reason. Park religions' arch enemy, reason, at the door, please.

fact |fakt|
noun
a thing that is indisputably the case: she lacks political experience—a fact that becomes clear when she appears in public | a body of fact.
• (the fact that) used in discussing the significance of something that is the case: the real problem facing them is the fact that their funds are being cut.
• (usu. facts) a piece of information used as evidence or as part of a report or news article.
• chiefly Law the truth about events as opposed to interpretation: there was a question of fact as to whether they had received the letter.

proof |pro͞of|
noun
1 evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement: you will be asked to give proof of your identity | this is not a proof for the existence of God.

I don't know what Willie Boy belief system is.
If he say he is 50% christian or 100% christian i will understand and no need to debate any further

This is the same thing I've said multiple times, in many different threads. You've apparently gotten yourself confused about many things. But as I said, no matter what evidence is shown there will be those who refuse to accept, simply because it is not what they want to believe. This goes for religion as well as just about anything else in life.

Is it me or does that homophobic pastor sound like the stereotypical "gay man" with his lispy voice? I know it's wrong but I kept laughing while listening to the guy's voice and imagining he's been with a few guys himself!

I've said it before, he looks like a typical guy doing pay.

Gosh...history is replete with people protesting or condemning something which belies their affinity for that very thing. Religions have always been hijacked by people to advance their power. Were you born at night?

However, I can't think of a single instance in the last, say, 50-to-100 years, where a gay person was put to death because they were gay because of Christian beliefs; neither formal nor informal.

But I can sure remember people being put to death in the last ten years in the middle east by Islamic fundamentalists because they were gay.

It kind of makes you wonder why Leftists are so in love with Islamic fundamentalists.

A Baptist pastor in Tempe, Arizona said so.
Just a remainder of how loving Christianity is ;)

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. To be honest, these videos are my guilty pleasure. They're comedic to me, no matter how dark they may be.

I noticed this too. To paraphrase an old saying, the one that crows the loudest usually has the most to hide.

One of these days, he'll be found out and have to resign, hopefully, before he does any damage.

Kinda like Ted Haggard before it was discovered HE had sex with men! What I find ridiculous about Haggard is that he claims to be "a straight man with homosexual tendencies." Does he REALLY think we're THAT stupid?

Yup. Very much so. They think we don't have brains... :)

I worked with someone who was very much like this. He once partied heavily, using various drugs over quite some time. Then one day he came to work and found fault in everyone else, claiming they were no longer good and would go to Hell, etc., because he had "seen the light".

He was of course extremely homophobic, and one day someone caught him looking at gay porn at work.

And then you become his partner ...

Opinion? If you ask me that goes far beyond opinion when you have people out there that listen to this idiot and then ends up hurting people who are gay.

It's hate speech and it shouldn't be allowed.

I agree. This is the scary part. There will be those rednecks and psycho-paths who will use this as an excuse to do something awful.

But its protected, same as racial hate as spoken by the KKK.

Canada and UK (and probably many other places) seem to be getting along perfectly well, while outlawing blatant hate speech. Most countries have "matured" enough to know how to strike a balance on things. The USA generally operates "in black and white" so that almost EVERYTHING is absolute. This applies to "free speech" which supposedly still prohibits the right to incite terrorism and such, but those "rights" spew forth from thousands of pulpits every week. Inciting to kill gays, abortion doctors, liberals, etc. is, indeed, encouraging a form of terrorism.

Of course "free speech" includes the absolute right to throw TRILLIONS of dollars into elections, if entities have enough money to do so. It hasn't gotten there yet, but it will when the world starts producing trillionaires who have stolen wealth from virtually everybody else. EVEN THE MILLIONAIRES won't be safe anymore.

Isn't it funny that free speech is absolute...but doctors can be prohibited from suggesting abortions, or anything positive or affirming at all about homosexuality can be absolutely prohibited from inside the walls of any school (such as in Tennessee and, is it in Michigan too?), etc.?

Our inability EVER to find balances or compromises in anything mean that it will be impossible ever to do anything more than say that kill-the-gays hate speech may be wrong, therefore it may flow freely as much as those who want it to.
