Gay Doctor murdered in West Hollywood

So sad. Just read about this today on a West Hollywood blog. Why haven't the larger gay media picked this story up??

Dr. Kurtland Ma, age 34, was murdered on Sat. March 29 by his boyfriend, Andre Damiane Davids. West Hollywood police were called to an apartment at 939 Palm Avenue, after getting tipped off about suspicious activity. When the police got into the apartment, they discovered Dr. Ma, stabbed to death. They also found Andre Davids (the boyfriend) trying to commit suicide by taking pills.

Dr. Ma was extremely smart - he got an almost perfect score on his SATs, and he went to Yale University for college & medical school. He did his physician training in New York City, where he first met Andre Davids. Dr. Ma loved to travel to Europe & Asia, and he just moved to West Hollywood early this year to work as an emergency room doctor.

Sadly, Dr. Ma won't be able to save any more lives. Because his evil, monster of a boyfriend took away his life.

Why haven't the gay media (outside of WeHo) picked up this story? Is it because the victim is Asian & isn't a blonde-haired, blue-eyed gay man? Or is it because the murderer is Black, and the liberal-leaning media want to be politically correct & don't want to perpetuate stereotypes? Or, lastly, is it because this tragic story highlights the reality of gay domestic violence, lest the fight for gay marriage be hindered? Or is it all of the above??

Most gay men in WeHo & NYC didn't know Matthew Shepard, but they were protesting in the streets after his murder in far away Wyoming. Of course the murderers were (allegedly) straight, and not gay themselves.

The reason why we don't hear about stories of gay domestic violence is the same reason why Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson & the MSNBC crew march in the streets for Trayvon Martin, but they completely ignore the Black-on-Black violence that is the biggest killer for young Black men in America.

Gay, Inc. would rather sweep gay domestic violence under the rug. They don't want to remind straight people that gay relationships can have the same problems as straight relationships.

Sadly this story is even more gruesome than I first thought. Andre Davids confessed to also mutilating Dr. Ma's body by cutting off his genitalia and putting it into his mouth. He said he killed Dr. Ma out of jealousy.

Unless the murder is somehow representative of the gay, Black, or Asian groups, there IS no larger story.

Domestic violence occurs across the spectrum -- in gays, straights, tea party, Libertarians, farmers, profligates, ghetto, elite, and every other subgroup.

However, you are correct about all media outlets controlling and censuring the content due to their agendas, and that also runs the gamut from PBS to NPR to Fox to NBC.

The murder was a horrible tragedy. That is the story. If they reduced the killer to just a race, then that is also a valid observation.

Is it typical of gay couples? Obviously no.

The idea that Nicole Brown Simpson was more covered because she was white is a hoot. She was covered because a front-page celebrity murdered her, allegedly. If Bill Cosby had murdered his wife, there would be no less sensationalism.

A doctor is not a famous person and murder is commonplace in some countries. That means no coverage unless the murder is particularly notorious.

They certainly covered Matthew Sheppard more than James Byrd, or maybe I just heard more about Sheppard due to being gay myself.

But they definitely covered Magnotta's murder of Jun Lin, and crazy theories about "liberal media" are just that.
