It's difficult to explain it to people who aren't in the industry, and yes, many of those guys really are gay pretending to be straight.

But a bunch of those guys really are straight and have girlfriends, wives and aren't interested in any contact with men... but are willing to do it if the price is right. And the price is VERY high for an hour's work.

No, it's going to be rare to find straight men in the midwest who are willing to do it... in LA.. not so much.

But I've also met some of the guys that work for these sites who say they are straight -- and ended up blowing them or getting them to fuck me and some just full on sex. A friend of mine owns a few amateur straight guy porn sites and plays with the models off-camera, including the ones that will only do solos on camera.

Hell, there's a few models on that Fratmantv lists as straight, are really gay and pretty out in real life. I met one in San Diego. And of course, we all remember Corbin Fisher's straight boy Mason Wyler--- except when he came out as gay. My website owner friend has met a lot of Corbin's boys and says that they are mostly bi and a few are now coming out as gay.

For those models you think are truly straight, I know what porn sites pay -- and its really not all that much for a straight guy to go gay relatively. Hell, there are sites that only pay $175 - $300 for guy on guy stuff. That's not alot of money. The problem is that many of these supposed straight porn models have really bad pre-set notions that someone can't be bisexual without having a ton of interest in guys. but as far as the Fratmen models listed as "straight"... um.. you're making that up. We don't "list" the sexual orientations of our models anywhere. We've never denied that a few of our models are gay.. hey when Brandon came out, we announced it.

David is openly bi as is Tommy.

Miguel calls himself "straightish".

If one of our models ask us to not discuss his orientation, we don't.

I agree that it's disgusting that gay men worship straight men above all else and the idea that there are sites out there that take gay men and lie about their orientations is one of the reasons that gay men have such a warped idea of what gay means and looks like.

When I took over marketing for Fratmen, one of my biggest mandates was to NOT sink to that level. There's no mention of the orientation of the Fratmen in any of our advertizing with the exception of some snide banners I made that took a swipe at the whole "Straight gone gay" thing.

They said "Straight men.. acting straight".

but we abandoned those over a year ago. Although I thought it was funny, I was kinda worried about people thinking that we were playing on the "straight acting" thing... another term I find offensive.
