No I would not consider it normal just because some one else has the same experience---if you are turned on by the thought of guys then at the very least you are bi-sexual. The fact that you have a problem getting turned on by real guys maybe a way that you keep yourself from acting on those desires. Yeah, I don't see anything totally irrational or abnormal here. This could also be attributed to your environment. You've grown up in an environment that nurtures heterosexuality, and that's what you've come to know.
