Gay Siblings

I have one brother, eight years younger, who's straight.

My mom is the last of nine children, so I grew up with tons of cousins, none of which are gay.

I am truly unique at the Thanksgiving/Christmas/Family gatherings, although there is one uncle whom I suspect may also be gay.

I have a twin brother, younger than me by five minutes. Frankly, there is MOUNTAINS of evidence (things mutual friends have told me, certain web sites I found on the IE history when we still lived together, an email he was writing that I peaked at while walking by) that suggests that he is, at the very least, not 100% straight. But he is one of the most secretive people I know, and we've just never had the kind of relationship where we talk about stuff like that. After I came out to my mom she did ask him if he was gay too and said it wouldn't bother her if he was, but he said no. *shrug*

I'm trying not to assume anything until he says something to me, though (which knowing him won't be any time soon). Part of me wonders why he doesn't at least say something to our parents, both of whom are fine with me being gay. Extended family (who I'm not out to at all) however are a whole other ballgame that I don't even want to deal with right now.

I'm the oldest out of 3 brothers and the other 2 are straight. lol

I'm next to the youngest of 5 boys. We were all 2 yrs apart so we were close. My oldest brother and me are both gay, my next to the oldest brother would screw anything that moved so I guess he was bi. They both have passed on however. My oldest brother and I were very close since we were both in relationships for a very long time and did alot together, including work. My other two bros are straight and have been married forever.

Whooo interesting thread.

My younger sister is a HUGE lesbian, very butch or a "stud" as they're known in black lezzy lingo, and came out in the 8th grade  When I was living at home before I left for uni she would always have her little girl friends running around.

I have an older sister who's "bi-sexual" but we've never really talked about it. She has a kid but is now dating a girl.

I haven't seen my brother in ages, but from what I know he's straight since he's living with a woman.

Oh,I do happen to have a gay friend who has a gay step-brother! They have some really hawt stories about what they would do when their parents weren't at home. :gogirl:

Short answer

None.

Long answer

My mothers side:

My (half) older brother is a huge homophobe. With that said he has been with more guys than I have, but will not admit it anymore. My mother and I are both openly pansexual. I had an out gay uncle and an aunt that every one thinks is gay, but will never come out. My oldest nephew is more than likely gay as well as one cousin that is trans. In short my family just likes sex. Most have or will have sex with anyone, but still consider themselves to be straight. Its funny they are so homophobic. I am only the second male to have came out in my family.

My fathers side:

I don’t really know much about my fathers side except he has 4 to 7 more kids besides me, me being the oldest. If any are queer I doubt they are out. I think it is still against the law in their country.

I've got two half brothers (different Father). Youngest has Schizophrenia but when he was in the Navy I'm under the impression there were some 'experiences' but he disapproved of them. Other one ???, I believe he's living on some beach in South Florida. No clue there. Haven't heard from him since 1992, just occasionally see a news story (there's that internet thingy) that he's been arrested again.

However, on my Father's side, there's him (reason for the divorce), quite possible a Great Uncle, and for sure at least three cousins/second cousins or something like that.

On Mom's side, there is some evidence, but nothing proven. Just many unmarried relatives that are long gone, and people didn't talk about stuff like that. So we just don't know.

I'm the middle child (and Older Brother and Sister and 2 younger twin sisters) and all of my siblings are straight.

I do however have a cousin whom is a Lesbian.

I am the oldest of 2, my younger brother is married with a kid and we have talked about it, he is straight and no desire to sleep with men but very accepting and pro gay rights.

distant family
My grandmother's nephew passed away last year quietly at the age of 72, he was gay, out , flamming but my grandmother and her 9 sisters were always there for him. RIP uncle Fer

My dad has a lesbian cousin, I was told about it as far back as i can remember, she is a cop and in her 40s now.

No more to report

My older sister is straight.

A friend of mine is gay and so is his sister. His other sister is in her 30's I think, but she is developmentally delayed so I don't think anyone knows her sexuality. Both of his parents are fucked up too, and he suspects both to be at least Bi.

My mother had a first cousin who was gay and died in the 80's from HIV. There is no one else that I know of in the family that is gay.

im the oldest of three, and i have a younger brother who is bi

Well, I'm biologically an only-child but my two stepsisters which I grew up with - one is straight as an arrow.

The other one, well, she's married to a man but I have my suspicions. She's 23 now, and back in, well, about about 9-odd years ago really, she had an epic crush on a female teacher - like, major stalking. Calling her in the middle of the night, leaving her notes in class. Eventually said teacher called the police. Basically she was infatuated with her. I know she was only quite young at the time but still...

I think she might be bi.

But whether she is or not I'll probably never know. Oppressive conservative Christian environment has prevented us from sexual freedom growing up basically. She might still think it's wrong.

Nope. :/
But my male cousin has gotten a handjob and came from a guy.

Only one older brother by six years he is gay. Knew he was gay few years ago. I came out to him about eight years ago. We live miles apart but share lot thougths and ideas of gay community.

I am one of four, the youngest, and not one of my syblings is gay. All are dead now except my sister.

I have eleven nieces and netphews and three children, and none of them is gay.

I am the ONE. I am actually treated pretty well. I come across like most straight and masculine males. I do not know if that makes any difference. Also, my partner is a police chief.

Shep+!oops!

True Story (names have been changed):

A great number of years ago, my Partner John had a week of vacation to burn (this was long before we met) and decided to go wild and hit the bars in Milwaukee. He had no idea where to go, so he called the Cops and asked! The person on the other end of the phone chuckled a bit, but told him about a 'Old Fart' Gay Bar downtown (I believe it is still there). So he took a cab and went there.

He wasn't there for long, when some of the patrons asked him who he was and where he was from. 'I'm John from (small town) in Michigan.'

'OH!' the patrons replied. 'Do You know Bob? Bob Smith?'

'Why yes, I do. He's my Uncle.'

'We haven't seen him for a while. He usually comes down every couple of Months with his Partner!'

'He died three months ago.'

My partner knew his Uncle had never married, but somehow the status of his Uncle's 'Best Friend' completely escaped the family.

That is infinity hotness. (!)

I'm one of 5 kids, and the only gay one.

Lots of cousins, one of which is gay.

So far I'm the only one that's out, though not to everyone but, there's suspicions about a few cousins and uncles. You know, the kind that don't even date let alone marry.

I am the youngest of three children, and am the only one who is gay. My extended family is small compared to what I assume to be average, and as far as I know I am the only one who is not straight.
