Apparently they're coming out with eating out 3: all you can eat this July. You can give that one a try.

All the ones I've found to be good have already been mentioned. Seeing as I haven't been keeping up with movies of any sort recently I'm limited to what's on the television.

That said I thought that Between Love and Goodbye was one of the better ones as part of the gay drama genre.

Apparently they're coming out with eating out 3: all you can eat this July. You can give that one a try.

 *Wants.*

Big Eden is a great gay movie. Very tender, with some good low keyed humor, and a surprise when a small town composed of all age groups encourages and supports it's "boys" and their choices.

ALL OVER THE GUY -

Ruccolo makes me hard !!
All Over the Guy (2001) More at IMDbPro »
advertisement"All Over The Guy" is a contemporary romantic comedy about the quest to find the "one" when "the one" doesn't know he's the "one." It explores the unlikely pairing of two 20-somethings thrown together by their respective best friends in hopes of igniting their own romance. They do everything they can to NOT fall in love, but finally they overcome the dysfunction of their parents and surrender to their hearts. Written by Anonymous

Dan Bucatinsky's partner Don Roos is exec. producer. Wonder how he got the part? Seriously it was a real good flick. Ruccolo was totally believable as gay also !! We wish !!

For the TOTAL gay experience, you must see these movies!!!

An Early Frost-drama-1985 (made-for-American TV movie. The first movie to deal openly with AIDS.)

Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss-comedy-1998-Sean Hayes (Cute movie. Hayes played "Jack" on the American TV series "Will & Grace")

The Boys in the Band-drama-1970 (Historically significant as it dealt with the major players homosexuality as a lifestyle)

Breaking the Surface:The Greg Louganis Story-1997-drama-Mario Lopez (Greg Louganis is an Olympic medalist who is openly gay)

Broken Hearts Club-dramedy-2000 (Another cute movie)

Chuck and Buck-drama-2000 (Heavy drama based on the relationship between two friends stemming from childhood)

In and Out-comedy-1997 (Funny movie about a teacher whom everyone suspects is gay)

It's My Party-dramedy-1996 (Comedic, until the ending, which may be disturbing for some)

Jeffrey-comedy-1995-Steven Weber (Funny movie where Weber gives up sex!)

Longtime Companion-drama-1991 (AIDS patients dealing with life. Ending is heavily dramatic)

Making Love-drama-1982 (OK movie about a married man coming to terms with his gayness)

Midnight Cowboy-drama-1969-Jon Voight-Dustin Hoffman (Pre-"Brokeback" love story without the sex)

Milk-drama/documentary-2008-Sean Penn-James Franco (Life of Senator Harvey Milk played by Oscar winner Penn)

My Own Private Idaho-drama-1991-River Phoenix-Keanu Reeves

Mysterious Skin-drama-2004-Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Two teenage boys discover they shared an early childhood situation with an older man. Very dramatic and possibly disturbing theme)

Philadelphia-drama-1993-Tom Hanks (A lawyer with AIDS sues his employer for wrongful termination)

Paris is Burning-documentary-1990 (Insightful documentary of the lives of New York City's Harlem drag contests. The creation of the dance style "vogue" is introduced pre-Madonna)

Speedway Junky-drama-1999 (Male bonding movie set in Las Vegas. Gay hustler and straight boy trying to get home. Jonathan Taylor-Thomas plays a boy prostitute)

Torch Song Trilogy-dramedy-1989-Harvey Fierstein (Funny yet touching movie of the life of a drag queen from the early 70's through the 80's. Matthew Broderick plays his love interest)

You guys missed some:

Cruising (pre-AIDS classic with Alpacino)
Adam & Steve
Whole new thing
Urbania
The fluffer (with a gay porn industry plot)
The trip
Mulligans (with my fav hottie Dan Payne)

Adam and Steve was a terrible movie, I have to say. Ugh. The straight subplot with Parker Posey and Chris Kattan was ironically more interesting than the two gay male leads.

The Fluffer was meh. Not really much of an interesting plot.

The Trip was good though. Urbania is strange but psychological, and Dan Futterman is just great in anything.

Any other movies? Can't find anything else that looks good :/

Really? We listed quite a lot of movies so far. If you want a gay-themed movie with "love scenes", you might want to watch The Bubble (Eytan Fox's film, not Steven Soderbergh's movie), as I've posted earlier about.

East Side Story
The Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Greene
Boy Culture
Dream Boy (haven't officially been released on DVD)
Edge of Seventeen
But I'm a Cheerleader (its more lesbian themed but still good)

I just watched Billy Elliot, I thought that was a good one. It's not really a gay movie, but I guess it does have some underlying gay themes...

Here's how I answered this question a few years back:
Maurice (Shout out to Rupert Graves. Shout out to Rupert Graves nude! Classic gay themed movie, not sure how this got made during the 80s when they have a hard time making a gay themed flick of this quality even today. Runs very long and thus can be slow in parts, but it's worth it. What do you do when your best friend and love interest abruptly cuts off your relationship, marries a woman, and leaves you pretty much alone in a world where there is no real homosexual community, homosexual behaviour is punishable by prison time and homosexuality is treated as a disease)

The Man I Love( French Flick, lots of charisma, if you can get a hold of it, you should definitely see it. It's hard to say much about it without giving some of it away. )

Mysterious Skin (deals with the consequences of childhood sexual abuse on two teenagers. The main character is gay but that's really only tangential to the main storyline. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a much better actor than people give him credit for. He was awesome in this, he had tremendous screen presence. Very good movie.

C.R.A.Z.Y.(French Canadian flick. This was just plain great. Easily one of the best gay themed movies I've ever seen. It's a very good movie period, forget the gay interest part of it. Tons of charisma, just oozes it. Highly recommended.

Heights(just saw it yesterday, I may be overrating it just because its fresh on my mind, but I thought it was good, and Glenn Close kicks ass.)

Speedway Junky(First gay themed movie I ever saw, so I've got a soft spot for it. I can't tell if it's really as good as I think it is or not. Jesse Bradford and Jordan Brower are my boys.)

My Own Private Idaho(River Phoenix had major screen presence and Keanu used to know how to act(at least a little). Script was odd though. Direction was great.

Latter Days (I liked it. Steve Sandvoss is gorgeous. I'm having painful flashbacks of a music video montage tieing everything together towards the end though <<<shudders>>>. Very good by gay themed movie standards. It is known to pull the heartstrings of some of those who struggle to reconcile their religious beliefs with their sexuality.

The Trip (Okay, I hate to say it, but this one got to me a bit. I think the other movies I mentioned might be better quality, but still, I had to mention this one. Just one quote:

Beverly: So, Alan tells me you're a homosexual.
Tommy: Only because there was nothing good on television.
Beverly: Well, I just find it so intriguing.
Tommy: Not always, Liberace for example.
Beverly: Liberace is a homosexual?
Tommy: Sadly, yes.

Here are my recommendations now:

Juste une question d'amour (2000)
C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005)
L'homme que j'aime (1997)
Mysterious Skin (2004)
Brokeback Mountain (2005)
Sommersturm (2004)
Get Real (1998)
Plata quemada (2000)
Tout contre Léo (2002)
Heights (2005)
Les chansons d'amour(Love Songs) (2007)(This is my favorite right now)
Another Country(1984)
My Own Private Idaho (1991)

Here's a list of all of the gay themed movies I've seen in the last few years:
http://www.imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=19667765&f=all

The Raspberry Reich

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSWIrKBMBNk[/ame]

As others have mentioned Maurice, Latter Days, and Beautiful Thing are all good gay themed films but whatever you do don't miss MAMBO ITALIANO!

Forgot another one to mention: Bent, a UK movie about gays during the height of Nazis.

Jasun: Yep, there is a sequel (different guys, with another full-frontal from a porn star).

The best way to cheat is to go to Netflix; they have several lists of gay movies (GLBT BLT is my favorite!), and look for the topic "Gay/Lesbian" and start cruising. You're bound to find something quickly!
