If I may be honest I think the only reason this is even conceivably justified in some minds is that they are young men and have nice bodies. If it were one of them and their father or mother there would be a lot more opposition (even though the younger would still be of age of consent). Same if it were a father and daughter (which actually makes my stomach hurt just typing it). I just think this is how our brains work. We are willing to try to justify something that we either want to see or might excite us whereas we want to condemn that which turns us off.

Twins, brothers, cousins--hot as hell! It's hot if they're kissing, hot if they're sucking, hot if they're fucking.

I personally am not into daddy/son porn b/c the son is often subordinate to the father. I may as well watch straight porn if I'm going to view that sort of subjugation.

As far as real life incest goes, I'm not too concerned. If they parties are of consenting age and their isn't a another legal obligation involved (like parent/child) then go for it. Whatever floats your boat.

Cause in the end, pun intended, we are always gonna be split by something like this.. What society has placed before us here is a running commentary on the notions of attraction and morality..

Do you admit to the attraction and become ostracized by fellow butt fuckers on the basis of a socialized mindset that says incest is wrong?

Are you attracted to them because it's what you are told is beautiful?

Are you attracted to them because of the taboo of incestuous relations?

Does it even matter?

Why is this thread three pages long?

What have you done to save the world?

Ultimately sex is the end result of me wanting to be in a relationship. There is no way I would ever consider being in a relationship with my brother. I'm actually happy that I'm not usually attracted to my own ethnicity because I fear that I would be cursed with being attracted to a family member (just like I can't turn off being attracted to men).

Some guys are into just sex, so I guess everything is up for grabs, but I don't care for it. Although seeing 2 guys would turn me own, but I'd have to make it a point to not put myself in one their places and more of a voyeur.

Can I have a high horse for christmas too?

That is if Santa can stop ass fucking the elves long enough to bring one...

They should never give a license to a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

As for the OP's question, I'm not one to judge. I've played with my brother before, when we were young teenagers. I mean, I couldn't do it now, but I wont judge others for it.

As was pointed out several times though, PabloZed, in those kinds of situations there is a very uncomfortable power imbalance there, and it feels psychologically damaging and dangerous.

In the case of gay twins, they essentially started out as the same entity and then split--while not all twins share the almost mystical and stereotypical bond we hear about so often, there's still no way of knowing how deep the affection and/or draw might be for the pair of them.

Or maybe they are just horny and like the money, so they just see it as getting off for pay.

And as far as the person who basically said not to play the interracial card or the unrelated gay couple card, I don't see why not. These boards are often about how so many right-wingers/fundies treat us as subhuman because they are disgusted by who we are attracted to sexually. While there are acts that do indeed gross me out to even hear about, I still try not to judge those individuals as long as they are consenting adults, because I don't want anyone judging me because I am attracted to men.

Wow, what an ignorant sow. So incest is parallel with homosexuality?

Now being a homo this is pure speculation but...

In the minds of the heterosexual majority? Yeah...

Or at least that is what it is akin to every time I hear the bullshit being spouted..

Good thing I stopped listening.

Since when do we as a society not judge others? Let's see. Tiger is being judged for being a horndog and his women are being judged for being sluts; the President is being judged for EVERYTHING including being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize; Adam Lambert is being judged for kissing a guy and having women in his videos; Americans are judging Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Iraqis, Ugandans, Sudanese, Israelis, Iranians . . . Its never ending. All we fucking do is judge others without holding up that mirror of self analysis.

I know, right.

So in other words, my being gay—which is a proven biological trait—is akin to someone's choice to have sex with their relative.

Who knew?!

Guess I better shut up and just smile/nod at families fucking.

The big biological answer does not exist as of yet, and even scientists who have found strong biological evidence concede that there might also be elements of environment that contribute to the end result. If it was definitively proven, we might have an easier time of convincing others of our rights to be treated equally. (Or, as Jasun hypothesizes, we might be put to death as proven genetic anomalies.)

And there are people who experiment sexually who are not gay as we might consider ourselves. Their sexuality is fluid enough that they are open to the experience, but it ends up not being their primary sexual attraction. So one could say those individuals "choose" to have sex with a same sex partner.

Besides all that, Piggy was not comparing incest with homosexuality. He was comparing JUDGING people for their sexual activities. Twisting his intent does not support your condemnation of gay twins who have sex together. It merely allows you to feel righteous in your indignation while you judge others.

So that justifies being judgmental, because we all do it?

Great thread, Piggy!

Speculating about the twins that are of the topic...it is common for siblings to use the opportunities of proximity to take early gross anatomy lessons from each other. Nothing gross-- they just explore something, a body human, that is irresistibly attractive to our curiosity. Identicalness might increase the impulse to explore.
We have a deep-wired aversion to this. That is, there is an instinct within us that tells us "don't go too far." That is what so many posters deal with in this and many other contexts. But each person hears it talking when they are exploring the same territory themselves.
There really isn't anything wrong with twins---or sibs---of the same gender and of nearly the same age taking advantage of a convenient opportunity to find out what they're made of.
Besides our instinctual taboo aversion, I guess there's envy, too.

Appaling. Disgusting. Immoral. Horrible. Sickening.
. . . I could go on and on.

That is really just 100% WRONG and ANYbody with any ounce of morality would know that.

To those who say it's wrong, I have one simple question: why?

Can you explain WHY it's wrong, other than some 5th-grade, gut-level, "it's icky!!" response?

I don't care enough either way.

Then again, I think parent-child porn is fucked up like all hell, but that's kind of different.

Why? Because it's incest and it's never ok. It's never "hot".
I have to relate this to myself. I have a sister and I can't even sit here and type how much I would NOT do certain things with my sister.
Their gender or inability to reproduce has nothing to do with it. It's tasteless and absolutely tremendously wrong.

And the world is picture perfect?

Yes, as a society, we judgments about others. It's human nature. We all have our flaws.

It still doesn't make it right.

But does it make it wrong?

Wait whut?

It's HOT!

And it's not incest.

Identical twins are essentially the same person. Just like playing with yourself. :-)
