OMG!!!

I think I found new guilty TV pleasure, especially since the series "Desperate Housewives" is now ending.

This Sunday is the series premiere of GCB (Good Christian Belles), loosely based on the book, "Good Christian B*tches." It will air on ABC in the United States.

The synopsis, from Wikipedia --

The series follows Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb), former "Queen Bitch" in high school, a recently divorced single mother of two children who returns to Dallas where she grew up. She meets her former school friends, whom she used to mock: Carlene Cockburn (Kristin Chenoweth), Good Christian's Dallas and GCB "Queen", Sharon Peacham (Jennifer Aspen) who was beautiful in high school and is now full-figured, insecure and does the bulk of Carlene's bidding, queen of the gossip and glamorous Heather Cruz (Marisol Nichols) and Cricket Caruth-Reilly (Miriam Shor), hot powerful real estate agent in Dallas whose husband Blake (Mark Deklin) is gay. Amanda resides with her children and her fifty something mother Gigi Stopper (Annie Potts), who still acts like a twenty something.

Isn't this exciting? A new TV drama set in Dallas, with hunky White cowboys?? One of the characters appears to be a closeted gay man (played by Mark Deklin)....

Kristin Chenoweth will star, along with Leslie Bibb. Does anyone else remember Leslie Bibb 10 years ago from "Popular" on The WB?

This new show will be soooo entertaining!! I love their Texan accents and over-the-top Dallas "Dallatude"..........lol

I wish I could visit Dallas right now, and find me a hot Texan hunky guy to marry!!

Ripp Cockburn (played by David James Elliot)

Character Bio -- Oil baron Ripp Cockburn is intimidating at first and second glance. But don't be fooled by his tall stature and chiseled jawline; he's devoted to his Christian faith and is putty in wife Carlene's hands, keeping her satisfied at least twice a day. Ripp takes an interest in Amanda when she comes to Dallas, thinking she might be hiding something that he's been missing...



Zach Peacham (played by Brad Beyer)

Character Bio -- Sharon's boisterous and fun-loving husband Zack took a career-ending pro football injury and turned it into a thriving car dealership business. When Sharon and Zack got married, they were the hot-and-heavy golden couple of Hillside Park. But now they're in a bit of a rut. Having old school crush Amanda back in Dallas makes Zack pine for the good old days and maybe more.....

I just found out that the premiere episode of "GCB" (Good Christian B*tches, starring Leslie Bibb & Kristin Chenoweth) is available for viewing right now, streaming on on Yahoo!

The first episode will air this Sunday at 10 PM/9 PM Central on ABC.

The actor's name is Greg Vaughan, and it turns out, he's originally from Dallas! (it's a shame they killed off his character in the first scene)
