if she is a spirit or if she's been hanging with Alan, but all she remembers is coming into the room.
Her response to Nik's next question is the theme for all that follows in the rest of this story. 
When Nik wants to know if he was responsible for her death, she says, 
"Nikolas, you would never hurt me."

Guza says this mystery will not unravel until halfway through 2008. "She is not a ghost 
and she is not his conscience. Just exactly what she is has yet to be revealed, but I guarantee you,
it will make for one of the most romantic stories we've ever told."
 
They did this crap with Ryan & Gillian when they stupidly killed her off "All My Children" in the summer of 2001.

The writing staff at GH must be over-dosing on the extra drugs in the hospital or something because these stories are anything but grounded in reality.

ABC soaps have always been my faves over CBS but at times like these it makes you wanna find permanent ground at CBS where at least the storylines are a little more realistic.

Well I do have to say that Monica's reaction has been a great one. LC has done a great job acting. I am so sick of Nikolas...put this story line out of its misery. Bring back Johnny Z.
 
Monica's lost two daughters now (Dawn about 17 years ago) and now Emily.

But I heard Leslie/Monica goofed and said something like, "I can't believe I've lost a daughter." I missed the episode but a soap mag gave it a thumbs-down for this booboo. Anybody else catch the slip up and what exactly the dialogue was?!?

If Emily was not Monicas daughter what was she then? The Q's pet or maid? Monica took care of Emily since Em was a little girl. She loved her like a daughter.

The editor is full of shit.

LOL nawww it's not like that. Monica said something like, "I've never lost a daughter before and it's the hardest thing to go through."

FYI: "The Young & The Restless'" Sharon Case (Sharon) played her teenage daughter Dawn in the late 1980's and died. The mag simply said that the writers must have forgotten that this is Monica's second daughter to die.

But since the writers are on strike, soaps are using SCABS to write the current stories so we are going to see a lot of holes and goof ups in the months to come (like we're NOT used to those) #-o

Correct. But they're using scabs to write the winter and spring shows.

I think they should just show classic holiday (Christmas) moments from the past years, and worry about new shows after the holidays.
 
The writers strike could last for six or seven months, GM.

Do you really wanna see Thanksgiving and Christmas shows five days a week for that lengthy time period? LOL

I think the show ended with that entire cast being vampires (in the summer of 2003) but I'm not sure at all because I never watched "Port Charles."

PC pretty much ended for me when they killed Jake Marshak, played by that sexy as Rib Hillis

i miss the annual Quartermaine Thanksgiving disasters.
 
Rib's face was so unique ... never conventionally "handsome," but still ever so beautiful.

He's doing really well as a 40+ men's fashion model but you'd think he certainly would have broken into TV & movies in a bigger way with a name like, "Rib" :)

And a body like his!

What a great funeral episode. Some powerful acting from LC.I really hope that it turns out that Nik killed Emily so we can stop hating on Sonny.
