I graduated High School and that's as far as I went, everything else has been on the job. :)

Have you ever taken the train across country?
 
Not across country, but I've taken one from Rochester to Boston and back.
And, we took a National Railway Historical Society Fall Foliage trip from Rochester,
down along Seneca Lake and into Corning, the back to Buffalo - bus from there.
(The train ride started in Buffalo, but had a pick-up in Rochester w/ Bus back.)
My Father in-Law said the train had as much heat as it had when he was riding that vintage
model as a sailor back in WWII - slim and none.
The Canon-Fieldcrest factory outlet store in Corning sold out of twin blankets.
We got a comforter we used for years afterwards.

Have you ever made Lasagna from Scratch?
(not the noodles, the assembled meal.)
 
Lasagna? Oh, Yes! It was a 2 day recipe. Made the sauce the day before, and let it "mature" over night. The tomatoes were even home grown. YUM!! Haven't done that in years, though.

Ever gone to a live concert? And, if so, what was the last one?
 
yes, but it's been so long ago I seriously can't even remember what it was.

Do you have a piggy bank?
 
I had several as a kid.
Does my Credit Union acct where I put small amounts here and there building for a rainy day count?
It's either that or my large Beer Stein, but since I rarely use cash for much anymore, the coins don't build up so well.


As to Chaz's question - last live concert was a couple of years ago - Perpetuum Jazzile from Slovenian - a capella group - about 40-50 voices. Great. I shared their current US tour with my back channel - including Chaz, since they're coming to Milwaukee.

The 40 person a capella music group I told many of you about is coming back for another tour.
The shows are relatively inexpensive - $20-30/ticket range by and large.

No, but I have seen them aloft - about an hour - hour and a half from here they have great thermals down in the foothills of the Catskills/Appalachians.

No. I have been on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, but not on Pacific Water.

Lake Ontario w/ 30' Cabin Cruiser as a kid, yes.
Atlantic Ocean on Ferry, yes.

Drove close - over the Hoover Dam enroute from Lake Havasu City to Las Vegas on our Honeymoon a very long time ago.
We were passengers.

Yes, US and Canadian sides.

No. Hasn't been on my "must do" list.

Ever been to Cooperstown, NY for the Baseball Hall of Fame?

What type of vehicle do you own?
 
I've driven everything from limos to MG Midgets. I've owned everything from "land yachts" to compacts. My current car is a mid-sized 2008 AWD Dodge Avenger, which I Love! :luv2:
