"Getting to know you...

I work in a single story building - one step to curb from parking lot.
Stairs at home.
I use stairs at museum sometimes instead of elevator.
Lots of hats - Baseball style from many trucking companies - a collection from a lifetime ago. Many of the companies are no more.
Leo/Monkey(Chinese) With a somewhat conflicted moon sign of Aquarius - opposite Leo. And you wonder why I argue with myself so much.
No tie - was told not to dress up when I was hired - I'd scare the contractors who are our customers off.

Do you have a Twitter account?

Yes, though I am not very active with it. Mostly I just re-tweet stuff, or post smart ass comments or observations. nothing spectacular.

And yes I use the stairs every chance I get, only use the elevator or lift, if I'm not feeling well enough to take the stairs, or if I am carrying a lot of stuff, or if a coworker is using it and don't want to be rude. I work on the top floor of a 3 story building and there are two elevators.

When you read a book by a new author and you enjoy it, do you then feel the need to go and get every book they have written?

We already have them all - our family tends to share all of the books all the way around.

Probably a dozen or better authors in house.
Yeah, we've been there/done that.

One of us even uses the *shudder* LIBRARY to take books out - of course, when HP was coming out, we got to the point where we *had to* buy 2 or 3 copies so we could read them ASAP - and we'd donate the extra(s) to the library, almost new - they greatly appreciated them.

We've also stopped buying particular authors when they started phoning it in.

What kind of music were you listening to?

Not so much.
Love music, art, but, while I have decent ideas of color and space, I don't have the 'hands" to do it.
My daughter does like my ideas in floral arrangements, though - I convey ideas to our florist, they transform what I want into the physical arrangement - I leave license for some expression on their part, too!

I guess I best express my artistic side in cooking.

Are you familiar with Great Big Sea? And interesting mix of genre.

Mais oui, Boris.

I could turn that to
a) Roll Over, Beethoven

or
b) Schroeder from Charlie Brown

(Pick one - I didn't want to violate the CoC w/ pics of minors)

His 5th da da da dum

And, of course, his 9th Symphony, with "Ode to Joy"

I'm actually almost surprised that you aren't familiar with Great Big Sea, Boris - they hail from
St. John's, Newfoundland.
Grew up performing in the Fishermen/College Pubs of St. Johns.
A fusion of Irish Drinking Songs, and Rock
Here's one of theirs:

Alan Doyle is a buddy of Russell Crowe - was the minstrel in Robin Hood, and just finished filming in NYC for an upcoming movie.

New Question:

Have you ever made Jamabalaya?

Once or twice...butt her brother was better

And the question would be . . .

Do you know where the Chase Scene for Spiderman 2 is going to be filmed?

I like your style, Billy. I saw the image and knew you were spot on.

It will be interesting to see what kinds of scenes they take -

I have not seen the last one. Do not know what the theme was. Since Tobby wasn't spiderman didn't think it would be as good.

Oh, we liked it even better than Toby - Toby was a bit whiney. This Spidey matches up with my Comic book reading as a kid Spidey a lot more.

Oh, we owe questions to get back on track . . .

Letterman or Leno?

In that time slot.

I may have to get a copy and watch it. My niece might have it (she has almost every movie).

Leno, both are not as good as they used to be.

Pro Football or College football?

Four Wheels.
Although, I used to enjoy bicycling.

Roast Chicken or Turkey?
