I never throw clothes away , I give them second uses , I sew them and turn them into mop cloths or I wear them as pajamas , and in other cases I donate them

I usually wear sneakers, and there's usually nothing you can do but throw them away when they get worn out. I've tried to get dress shoes repaired in the past, but the repair didn't hold, and I had to throw them out anyway.
