"Getting to know you...

France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Austria etc. :) France is #1 though.

How about you?

USA , England , Australia , Argentina , Italy , Spain , France , Greece

How many languages can you speak ?

The only one besides English that I can hold a reasonable conversation in is French.
But I also studied Russian (I can still speak a little bit) and Arabic (I've lost all but a few phrases) in university.
I've never studied Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian, but I can probably speak more, and can certainly understand much more, of them than I can of Arabic.

How many languages can you speak? (You being whoever comes to this thread next.)

I envy you, Paul!

I can read the Cyrillic and Greek alphabets.
Arabic sort of, but I can only really get it right if all the vowel markings are included, which they rarely are. Arabic art calligraphy is nearly impossible for me, because letters will get moved around out of order or elongated for visual effect so that I don't recognize them, and it usually includes a lot of decorative marks that look like vowel markings but aren't, so I get confused. For other languages that use Arabic script, I can make out some Urdu, but Persian usually flummoxes me.
Same with Hebrew: I can pronounce it only if all the vowel markings are there. Also, I can read the printed letters but not cursive. And I can't really make out Yiddish.

Have you ever flown in first class or business class?

A few, inside and out on the balcony

Do you have pictures, posters or other stuff in your walls? (yes)

No, because I barely have any walls.
The two walls that face outward are mostly windows; one of them is almost all windows.
So most of the wall space is taken up with furniture (armoire, tall bookcases and CD cases, etc.)

How many bookcases do you have?

More than I can count. I have many bookcases because I’m such a bookworm. Most of my walls are full of bookcases.

What is your favorite animal?
