"Getting to know you...

Yes and I've been having such strange ones in a row since last week.

What's the most eerie/frightening dream you can remember?

well I don't get scared by dreams cus I know they're not awake reality , but once when I was an early teen I dreamt I had had my arm chopped off and I was bleeding , then I woke up and felt relieved as the dream had felt very realistic

:(

Are you happy with your life ?

Some things could be better, but for the most part, yes.

Have you ever grieved over the end of a friendship like a breakup?

Labor Day is this Monday here in the States, so we have an extended weekend. But whatever I do will likely be indoors, since they predict 80% chance of rain all weekend. I'll go to the MCC service on Sunday, and a group of us will go eat at the food court of a local mall. There seems to be a group that wants to attract people to the church by being seen, but I personally don't care if you believe in Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, or none of the above, just as long as you're happy with what you believe (or don't believe), and it works for you. I guess my views are more closely aligned with a Unitarian Universalist philosophy.

Has your religious beliefs or nonbeliefs changed since childhood?

MCC? Over here that's the Marylebone Cricket Club. I can't imagine you meant that!

No. I attended a Church of England junior school (from 5 to 11 years old), but even then I thought the religious stuff was completely crazy. Still do.

Do you go to a "happy clappy" church?

Sorry, MCC is Metropolitan Community Church, which was formed specifically by and for LGBTQ+ Christians, simply because they had no place else to go. BTW, the current moderator of the denomination, Rev. Cecelia Eggleston, is from and lives in England. I find that my personal beliefs are more free-form, but I also want to see MCC there because we get a lot of broken people from all the homophobic denominations out there, and need a place to heal.

I guess you could call it a "happy clappy" church. The local church at least has become more that way because lately we've had an influx of people from Pentecostal-type backgrounds coming in. They like to clap to upbeat hymns, shout "amen!" and so on.

Do you mind whether a pastor, minister, or priest is a man or a woman?

I was bad and got a burger and fries from Wendy's.

You?

I went to a chicken restaurant with my bf last night.

Are any of your grandparents still alive? How many of those who've passed on do you remember?

No. Neither are my parents, nor any of my aunts and uncles. Yes, I remember them all, including my grandfather who died at age 56, when I was 4 years old. One of my earliest memories was of him taking me to the beach.

Do you know where all your close relatives who have died are buried?

Many of them were cremated, but I know where the family graves are located.

A morbid question I know, but have you made any plans for your own death?
