Gingrich Accuses Sotomayor of Faking Broken Ankle

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich accused Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor today of faking a broken ankle in order to get sympathy votes during her Senate confirmation.

"She's only wearing that fake cast to help her rack up votes," Mr. Gingrich said. "The minute she's confirmed, she'll whip it off and start dancing a jig." Does every repug wanna be presidential candidate have to act like Limbaugh?
I always knew Newtwit was strange but his reemergence into the picture just shows how much of an ass he is. __________________

Agreed. Yet somehow the lunatics become the defense for each side and vice versa in arguments. Unfortunately so many can't form an opinion about an issue without framing it into insults regarding the persons holding the opposite view.

It's rather hollow to consider anything offered by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

He's one of those who folks who seems smart because of his body language. But when Gingrich goes off half-cocked, delivers a gaffe, and realizes his mistake…the ex-Georgia congressman routinely performs an about-face that ends up reminding us how little credibility he has.

In reality, Gingrich is irresponsible. Consider, for just one example, how he became divorced from his first wife. (For anyone who doesn't know…look it up.)

I think it's hilarious that Gingrich is lately tauted these days as the sacrficial lamb for the Republican Party's hopeless attempts to win back the White House in Election 2012.

Newt has been nuked for some time—and he is less electable than 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
