I havent never given flowers as gift to someone, but I think it so nice and romantic.

I do give flowers to my BF all the time.

He is goofy and always asks, what is he supposed to do with them. I always tell him that I was debating, if I wanted to buy him a dinner or give him a bunch of flowers. So, now, he has got the flowers and he may have them as his dinner, if he wishes to do so.

Goofy, rite.

You got that right! Too old fashioned? Well, I never! Who doesn't want to receive flowers? Okay, I guess I can think of a few--nearly all of my friends for one thing. But other than straight guys, who doesn't want to receive flowers?

I love to get and recieve flowers. It is so thoughtful

I think it's a beautiful gesture. I've given flowers to girls and to some ex BF's occassionally and have received them.

If the current heart throb of the hour gave me flowers he'd be guaranteed a place at my table for many moons to come!

I don't have a boyfriend, but I have given flowers to my Mom, and some friends. They enjoy them. How can a flower become outdated? The beauty of nature will always be appreciated....it is timeless. :)

Flowers are a lovely gesture; it can be a gesture of love, or of friendship, or simply of appreciation. Do give flowers, and if you are given some, receive them with grace.

I've never bought flowers for anyone except for my mom for Mother's Day or her birthday.

I occassionally buy a small bouquet for my breakfast table just to make it more cheery in the morning... I particularly love the scent of freesias...

I don't think it's old fashioned at all. I think it's very charming.

I'd love it if someone gave me flowers. :)

I give flowers occasionally to my BF, I like getting flowers myself and have bought them from time to time.
Now to send me a bouquet, my address is.............

Odd this should come up tonight.

Keith, (bf) loves flowers, and I just bought an 'Autumn Bouquet'
tonight at the super market.

The cashier, all of 16, asked me... "Nice flowers ! Are they for your
gf, your wife, or maybe for Mom ?"

I just said, "No". ;)

I don't think it's 'old fashioned' at all..... Some things *never* go out of style.

I give flowers to my man ALL the time and he just loves it because I love him and love making him happy!

Some take gifts of flowers in stride, others receive them in a profound state of shock. A friend of mine said to me about getting flowers: "I'll see you again at my funeral . . . this will probably be the last time I get flowers before I die."

I do NOT know why people think it's too sissy for men to get flowers!

I always let the florist know that the flowers are going to my MAN and NOT a WO man!

Dammit, I love my guy and I want ALL to know that my guy is worthy of flowers as much if NOT more than a woman!(*8*) (*8*)

It is NEVER old fashioned! Flowers are very endearing, i know i love getting flowers from a sweet guy :D

guess i'm to practical.

house plant (in an attractive container) yes, yes, yes

container plant for the patio/deck/balcony (in an attractive container) perfect

some poorstems with color knobs that have been hacked down that youwatch whither and wilt and turn brown in a cheap vase? no thanks

What is wrong with a little old school now and then? I love giving flowers...try this one to melt his heart...a bunch of white daisys tied with a gigham (think Dorothy's dress in the Wizard of Oz) ribbon around the stems...Very "Material Girl" video and very simple and romantic!

I love getting and giving flowers.

Which makes me wonder, why are giving flowers a sign of love? Is it because they don't last long? Which, when you think about it, is kind of odd to give something you know isn't going to last very long.
