Ugh...I've always hated Kurt. Not at all b/c he his feminine. He's just so manipulative, annoying, judgmental, hypocritical, and a selfish little baby. And what sucks most is he is like America's gay sweetheart, even winning a golden globe.
But the award was for his portrayal of Kurt. And tbh whenever I see him in interviews he seems just like Kurt. He talks the same but obviously he is quieter and more humble.Kurt didn`t win a golden globe, THE ACTOR Chris Colfer did. He is actually very different from the character he played.
I havent seen this show in a while but I just realized there's now a big white girl. As if there werent enough neglected characters on this show. I bet the actress who plays Mercedes is pissed.

While the biphobia is a tad realistic, since there are many gays who are like that. But it's still stupid b/c everything else about Kurt sexuality is completely stupid and unrealistic.
There is also 2 AF-AM guys on the show one was a potential date for Mercedes which we got a glimpse of and one of the bullies at school.

....and Rachel seemed like the manipulative one- knowing Kurt has feelings for a guy and pursue him/shove it in his face....
Kurt proves again why I can't stand his ass. Well maybe Ryan Murphy is to blame. It's like they play the gay card for everything.
Kurt's father had every right to tell Kurt to ask for permission before gay guys, who Kurt likes, spend the night in his bed. Especially since the guy was drunk. His dad even explained how Finn couldnt just bring a girl to sleep in his bed.
But of course Murphy makes it a crime for Kurt's dad to parent w/o being some homophobic bigot.
Um no to you. He didnt accept his father's point. He made his father out to be some bigoted jerk. That's why his father even had to point out all the ways he has been supportive to defend himself. And he most certainly didnt give a genuine apology. And he had some sarcastic comment about his father being ignorant before he left. How is any of that accepting what his father said?Um, no, he didn't come off that way at all. Kurt did quietly accept his father's point as a valid one and apologized. Most of the comments I've seen online supported Burt's setting of ground rules. Just because Kurt left on his comment about Burt learning more about what two guys do so he could go to him when he has questions, doesn't mean he didn't accept that having a drunk Blaine over in his bed was not cool.

For me at least, the difference is Kurt does fucked up things then tries to hide behind the whole gay victim thing. Kurt/the writers make every time someone is mean to him about his sexuality.I actually think the audience was supposed to be more on Burt's side for that one. I will also never get the Kurt hate, sure he's a bitchy, manipulative, hypocritical pain in the ass, but so are at least half of the characters in the damn show. Kurt just seems to get more hate for it.

I, for one, never gave 2 shits about whether or not Kurt was effeminate.I agree. There are plenty of valid reasons to be critical of him, but a lot of the outright HATE he's getting stems from effemiphobia and it really pisses me off. Like in "Duets", some "straight-acting" gays were voicing disgust at Kurt's "Victor/Victoria" number.
His flaws are very similar to Rachel's, but they just accept her as crazy, like everyone else on this goddamn show. For some reason, that doesn't apply to Kurt.
